Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

...And out of the many faces in the collective, the many voices who raise themselves in protest to what is spoken of they, the Visitors and government supporters, there is one that merely fixes their hat on their head, using that action to disguise a smirk of amusement. Very rough in the delivery, if this neutral force had to grade them on their performance. The ability to stir the collective will of the masses into madness was a rare one, indeed; and this child still needed to refine it.

In other words, she is amused by the attempt. Lauded and lured into action by a childish act, and yet acting as a distraction to attempt an assassination on the haughty that knew not of just how worthless one human life could be to a contracted killer or a radical in any sort of belief. How amusing, indeed.

And yet, very effective, should even a small handful be turned. It was something worth watching, at the very least... though the figure would not have any part of it lest another attacked her.

Let the true games (and new 'greetings') begin...
