Conquestum Paradisi

☢

What: Closing Arena Ceremonies, Part 2
Where: Aries Arena & Televised
Summary: 1/24/10AC
Warnings: This could get serious...but who knows.

Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

"Everyone evacuate now!" Arturia cried.

The moment trouble had started she'd made a run for the exit and was trying to direct civilians out of the arena, shouting at the top of her lungs for people to get out as fast as they could. She was a small girl, yes, but she could apparently command a crowd as she called for people to follow her voice, to get out as safely as they could and leave the fighting to those who could.

Whoops, changed things around a bit. Let me know if you're okay with a possible attacker, though.

A voice would drift in from behind Arturia. "Would you like some assistance?"

Sephiran then walked into Arturia's field of view. "I can help you escort these people out, if you'd like." Suddenly, someone came up behind Sephiran, a Persona ready to strike with a physical attack. He spun around, and a woman appeared, firing a blast of light back at the person. It was a direct hit, and the person stumbled off after taking it. "Ashera...?" After a moment, he turned to Arturia and asked, "Was that my Persona just now?" He had to make sure his goddess hadn't just jumped the dimensional divide to help him, after all.

I'm fine with it. Apologies for not tagging sooner. I wound up passing out.

"Please," Arturia said, looking up at the gentleman who had approached her. Any help evacuating would be appreciated in her book. Then a person approached, ready to attack, and Arturia shouted a warning at him.

Then the woman appeared, sent the attacker back, and the man asked her about his persona. Arturia gave him a quizzical look, then nodded.

"Er, yes. They tend to take the form of people or things we care about if I recall it right. Have you not summoned yours before?"

"Ah... no, no I haven't. I have mostly been using my magic tomes up to this point." There really hadn't been much need for him to fight, period, given how much he had been home. "If my Persona can use Light magic, then I suppose that saves me the trouble of carefully rationing out charges from my tomes. Now..." Sephiran took a look at the people to make sure there were no further crazies in the crowd. "Let's work on sending these people out, shall we?"

"Yes. Evacuation should be our first priority," she said with a nod and could already feel the questions rising up in her, her curiosity turning toward Sephiran like a flower growing toward the sun.

But that she could save for another day, when lives weren't on the line. Arturia climbed up on a convenient crate near her to get more height and began to shout for people to come here! Come here! The exit's this way, please evacuate as quickly and safely as you can!

"Very well. I'll get started... I don't think I got your name? I am Sephiran." Sephiran was doing a fairly good job of ushering people out the door without getting trampled on. "Please come this way, and come carefully!" He was slowing down some people that were going too fast, and he even had to watch out for a few children. He wasn't a fan of chaos, but in this case there wasn't much he could do to quell it.

However, someone was moving against the flow of the crowd, and Sephiran spotted him. "Someone's coming. Prepare for trouble."
