Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Aw hell no. Ferrus was already standing, hand going to his bolter and drawing it in one smooth movement. Despite his earlier awkwardness with Rune, he was in the moment now - and he started gesturing towards everyone else in the area.

"Get out! Evacuate!" His voice was amplified by his vox, and he could only hope everyone properly listened.

If anyone wants to help him evacuate everyone, hop in and roll with it.

"You heard him! Go!" Rune exclaimed by him, helping up a woman that was having trouble getting to her feet. She could feel her heart doing flips in her chest, that same sort of fear she always got when she was about to enter a battle hitting her. There were too many innocent people here... it would be hard to tell who was a friend, and who was an ally.

She felt a stirring in the back of her head, and let out a rather loud curse, pulling out her guns instead.

"Let's get everyone out, before we fight." Of course, this is spoken to Rune - in a softer tone. He gestured towards the people who were already approaching the stage - they had this handled. For now. It was go time for Ferrus, who was running around helping everyone get the hell out.

This did not leave an opening for Anoli to attack from within the crowd at all, nope.

"Y-yeah, of course," Rune replied, shaking her head. She needed to stay focused, there were too many people that could be hurt here.

She hopped over her seat, helping another person up, telling them to follow the others and try not to panic as they headed out.

"Do you need a little help, there?"

And before asked further, Eudora appears behind her and lifts a hand, casting Blue Wall on them both. Well, she could tell they were at least trying. While she was still hovering, she lifted her Keyblade as well, lighting up the path over their heads to the nearest exit with orbs of light.

"Please follow the lights to the nearest exit! If you need to be healed, there will be a few around with curative spells!"

Funny how she was so loud now when five months ago, she was the only one who would even hear her whispers.

Rune couldn't help but stare at the light show, a bit of a grin coming to her face. Nice... she totally needed to learn how to do that...

Okay, back on focus; Rune hopped up onto a chair, cupping her hands over her mouth so her voice could carry better.

"Hurry! Follow the lights everyone!"

Ferrus approved, as well. He tuned his vox to being loud, aaaand

"Follow the lights to the exit!"

It was fairly loud, and he just gestured vividly in the proper direction while looking for people who needed help to get on their way.

She silently wondered if that was what the mask was for, because if it hadn't been for previous encounters then she'd have worried that Ferrus was one of them. Luckily listening and realizing the Anoli were attempting to blend in with the crowd a bit more made her believe otherwise. Besides, they weren't attacking.

"Here. You may need this, since a few were blending in with the crowd on the other side."

...Yes she did just summon fireworks. And yes, their exploding shells just had a Marakukaja-like effect. Enjoy the additional defense...?

Rune smiled brightly.

"Thanks!"

She turned up to Ferrus then, her expression growing concerned quickly.

"What should we do? There are a lot of people here, and we don't know what we're going up against here."

The mask was for a lot of things, actually, Aqua! Attack, defense, loud voices. Most of all, it was used to hide his ugly mug.

(And it was a good thing she didn't attack - Ferrus could do a mean screech-and-taze.)

The fireworks earn a small moment of surprise and even awe - he'd never seen fireworks before, just explosions - although he quickly snaps out of that small daze.

Rune turning to him earns his head turning and him taking a moment to consider, before - "We need to get everyone out, and then clean up the Anoli. Can you help with that, miss...?" Looking at you, Aqua. He's unsure, but he's very much LET'S MAKE SHIT TAKE PLACE right now.

Hey, if he thinks his mug is ugly then clearly he had not met Master Xehanort why can't he just die of lung cancer already.

"Any time. And please, call me Aqua." If they'd been paying attention to the matches, they likely recognized her as the Connected Bonds in Foolish Waters; a female warrior that they apparently liked enough to interview. Siiigh. Still, she nods in agreement. "Of course. My team's already trying to help clear paths to the exits for those who can't fight, too. If you need more help here, I wouldn't mind doing what I can."

Especially since she can scan for enemies; that may be useful for some of them.
