Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

"Oh dear god," Apollo mumbled, staring in awe at the man who just wiped out a bunch of people in one go. "A-are you looking at me? I'm not a challenge! I'm just a lawyer!" Yeah, like that was going to work against someone who just dropped a whole smattering of people. He probably hated lawyers, too, Apollo bet.

That's actually a pretty good bet. There's an almost insane sort of amusement in his voice.

"Ohhh, a lawyer! Law and order, that's your thing, right?" As he's speaking, he starts taking one slow step forward after another.

"Not a fan of chaos, are we?"

"I think that's the general thought of people here right now."

There's a new voice that joins in: belonging to an eighteen year old high school student who happens to be holding a pink fan in her hand. This guy is definitely Anoli and while her team is scattered to god knows where, they can handle being apart and take care of others who can't defend for the moment.

Apollo, meet your defender as she stands right in front of you.

"You should go before it gets dangerous."

"N-No, not especially-"

Then Yukiko stepped in. Apollo was surprised to see a girl like Yukiko step up so bravely. (Well, he had seen Trucy just march up to a mob boss's wife with no fear, but that was a different matter.) "Uh... are you sure it's okay?" Not that Apollo could really do anything in response since he didn't have that great a grip on his Persona, but he wasn't exactly okay with just having this girl challenge this guy alone. "Do you use one of those... things? Personas? Whatever they're called?"

"Aw, c'mon, I'm just having a little fun!"

Man what a whiny Anoli he is. But he can tell that this girl is either very brave or very foolhardy. It's hard to tell if she's a Visitor or not though. Probably so, if she's standing up to him.

And she's getting in his way, in either case.

"So you wanna play instead?"

Or both of you, really. He's not picky at all.

"Sounds like our version of fun isn't yours."

She reaches into her sweater and pulls out a pair of red glasses; granted there's no fog but it's a part of fighting for her and without them on it feels off.

Yukiko also doesn't care about getting in his way. Screw that.

"Sorry but I don't play with strangers who like hurting people."

Bring it Anoli wannabe.

"W-wait! Are you sure you want to do this? That guy just knocked out a whole bunch of people!" Apollo was shaking in his metaphorical boots. He couldn't do anything to help (not that he knew his Persona could help), but he couldn't just leave this girl here! "C'mon, guys, let's not even bother fighting each other! It's just a waste of time! Right?"

Oho this sounds like a challenge.

... if only for the other guy. Taunting him had been fun at first but now his simpering was just getting annoying.

"Unless you're going to make this interesting, I suggest you beat it, lawyer"

The way he said it made it sound like a curse. Seriously this guy really was pathetic. He probably wouldn't even need to use Evil Touch or something Fear-inducing for Ghastly Wail to knock him out.

Then without warning, he struck.

"Eternal Black!"

The attack is, of course, aimed at Yukiko. He really doesn't consider Apollo worth his time.

The attack hits her at full force and the worst part is that she's not immune to dark spells. Way to jump in so suddenly.

Despite the force and how much it drained her, Yukiko wouldn't give up and casted a Mediarama on her and Apollo.

"He's tougher than I thought."

Apollo nearly jumped 20 feet into the air when the attack hit. He wasn't hit by the attack, but he could feel the vibrations well enough. "Are you okay?!" There had to be something he could do! Wait... maybe if that thing appeared again...

Without much thought, Hammurabi appeared once more and fired a Kouha blast at the Anoli man. "Wh-what was that, and why can't I control when it comes out of me?" Well, he could control it. He just wasn't aware that he could.
