Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Palutena arrives just in time to see the dragon persona attack the tragedian. The masked shooter who killed the champion is already gone. And that poor girl looks seriously injured. So the first order of business is to get to the mayor and the girl. Keeping an eye on the fight, she tries to reach them. Luckily for her, she didn't come alone.

"Pit, I'm going to try to get the mayor and that girl out of here. Cover me."

He frowns a little--he doesn't want to leave Palutena's side--but an order's an order. He reaches behind the back of his hoodie and pulls out two blades, connecting them to form a bow. It's this bow that he aims at the masked man.

"Give it up!"

"So~rry, but nah."

Oh, seems there was an Anoli member waiting in the wings to intercept anyone trying to get involved with the Tragedian. Where was he when the shots initially went off? Who knows. But this spade-masked...kid? Preteen? Isn't letting any more mistakes happen.

"You're just gonna have to back off. This is a private incident, ya dig~?"

She should have known it wouldn't be that easy. She glances past the new enemy to where the mayor and the injured girl are, trying to judge the likelihood of getting past him. Then looks back at the young man with a slight sigh.

"I see that we've been through basic villainous lackey training, and I'm sure you have a few more cliche lines to try out. But we're in a hurry here. Let us pass."

He seems young, so she doesn't really want to hurt him if they don't have to, but there are lives at stake.

{OOC: I'm so sorry, but I couldn't really tell if he was blocking both of them or just Pit. I decided to play it safe and assume it was both.}

Pit's a lot less reluctant to do this kid harm. Maybe it's 'cause they're the same age. Maybe it's 'cause Pit's the captain of her guard for a reason. Without hesitation, he breaks apart the blades of his bow and swings them both at the interrupter.
