Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Hitsuji quickly points one of her wands at Shura, shooting a technicolor blast of magic at one of her legs to try and incapacitate her movements. Furthermore, she quickly rushes towards the two, aiming a heavy punch at Shura's shoulder to try to get her to let go of her partner in crime.

Oh, how she wished she had Masakados now. Shura couldn't hold back the shout when she felt something in her wrist break and her grip loosened instantly. "Son of a BITCH!" To add insult to injury, that blast of magic caught her right in the knee juat as her gunshot wound was being punched, making her see a bit of stars

"FUCKING HELL!" she screamed, casting a Gaea Rage on all three of them, hoping to catch at least someone in the blast other than her.

The minute Shura released her grip, Spades withdrew his hand and teleported a yard away, shaking his wrist out and wringing his hand. He had to admit, she had a damn good grip.

He didn't seem to have many qualms about holding that same arm up to defend him against the Gaea Rage; it certainly hit its mark, but he shrugged the attack off with little more than a few more rips and tears in his jacket.

"No need to get so angry now!" He jested, bringing his (semi) bruised arm back to point the gun at Shura once more, firing another bullet for her other knee and one more for the same shoulder he stuck his knife in.

Shura let out a strangled scream as the bullets hit their marks. Added onto the energy spent to use the Gaea Rage, she collapsed to the ground, the edges of her markings a deep red, bleeding profusely from her shoulder. Groaning, she clenched her good hand into a fist. She refused to die here. There was no way she would die here. Her vision blurred a bit from pain as she glared at Spades, mentally running over the list of her demons and Persona's abilities. Who could protect her best in this dire hour?

"Yurlungur..." she weakly called, and the rainbow snake appeared in a great bolt of lightning. It shook violently as it cast Rakukaja onto Shura, then curled up and sat on Shura's butt, on head looking at Spades with googly eyes, the other at Hitsuji.

The attack isn't completely avoided, shredding a little at her clothes and pulling up a few slashes on her legs, but she doesn't do much more than twitch up the corner of her mouth in a silent snarl.

Hitsuji points both of her wands towards the summoned creature, sending bolts of technicolor magic straight towards it. She really ought to have just backed off at this point, as it seemed Shura was at her last legs of energy, but she wanted to get a final say in this match. Hopefully whatever Shura had summoned was one of her personas so she'd feel the hit as well.

Surprisingly, Spades holds up his free hand in front of Hitsuji, motioning for her to stop.

"Nah-- she's had enough." Not a shred of sympathy in his voice, admittedly, but it seemed to him like this was wrapped up and over with. He even went ahead and returned his gun to the depths of his jacket.

"Anymore 'nd their might not be any left for the medics to find."

Suddenly, threadjack.

Further away, somethink klunks. And then something else.

It sounds like someone is kicking cans in that direction. But there doesn't seem to be any obvious source of the action. Is someone actually stupid enough to be trying to get the pair's attention?

The girl sighs a little, but immediately slides her wands back up her hoodie sleeves when he indicates for her to stop. If Spades said it was enough, then it was enough-- she was letting her anger get the best of her.

"--??"

She pauses for a moment as she hears the noise, head turning in the direction she thought it was coming from like an excited kitten hearing a crinkling noise.

"Did you...?"
