Conquestum Paradisi

What: Closing Arena Ceremonies, Part 2
Where: Aries Arena & Televised
Summary: 1/24/10AC
Warnings: This could get serious...but who knows.

Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Things have really gone to Hell out here. It's nothing but chaos around Nick, what with the ghosts going nuts, and the fighting, and the destruction, and the random dead bodies oh wait this one isn't dead. He can tell, because that string is still attached -- although for how much LONGER, he can't say. The fact that he RECOGNIZES her just makes things more urgent.

Well, he told Fumie, didn't he? He had to make sure no more folks ended up like she did. He curses himself a bit for not having a proper healing Persona as he bends down and lifts her up. Awkwardly. Damn, she's heavy. Or maybe he's just weak? Maybe both. He eventually manages to move her to a slightly easier to handle position over his shoulders before moving along, looking for somebody SLIGHTLY less useless than him right now.

And he'll find quite an usual personage indeed.

Though perhaps not an entirely strange sight, given the demonic population, though John Silver is certainly not one of their kind. The ursid can be found carefully carrying himself about the rubble, navigating around the damaged stadium with care, apparently as yet unharmed by the chaos. When Silver spots Nick in the distance, and the woman he carries, his face twists into a visage of apparent, growing concern. He's pretty sure he sees blood.

"Now, who have you got there, lad?"

Thankfully, Nick is no stranger to non-humanoids thanks to his multiversal nexus sort of roots. He's not sure who it is, but the fact that he's obviously not human probably rules him out as Anoli. For now, anyway. Anyway, Nick isn't exactly normal himself, what with that big jackal-headed guy next to him. "H...hey, do you have any sort of first aid ability? Or healing? This girl's really badly hurt and I don't have anything to help on that front!" he replies.

He eyes drift from Nick to the girl again. His hobbling steps quicken until he's by the man's side, if only to get a better look at just what sort of wounds he's dealing with. There are some things that have always been beyond his skill to heal. His talent is but a humble one, after all—he knows how to stitch up a wound and push a stubborn shoulder back into place, set a bone, but he is no miracle worker, even with the fine presence that he has discovered upon coming here. He frowns.

"Aye, that I may. Lie her down gentle, lad, n' we'll see what can be done."

He nods, setting her down gently. He's no aide specialist himself, aside from the mandatory high school sort of level he wishes he remembered better. All he can tell is "that doesn't look good" and that's about it. He steps back, letting the stranger take a closer look and hoping he doesn't regret it.

Not particularly good, no. But Silver has seen more gruesome wounds then these—the injuries to his own body nonwithstanding. The wounds he eyes glance across look painful, but the only one that is of any particular worry to him is her side. Her leg's obviously broken and a bit bloody, but nothing vital there. The shoulder shot seemed to have been clean one, even if the muscles are torn through; were he back in his universe, he might question the likelihood of her gaining full motility of the limb again, but this was not his world.

And he also did not have access to a Persona.

After a moment, he taps his temples. "Polaris, m'dear."

And within a few, long moments, Silver's Persona heeds his call. Her hazy outline winks into life on the battlefield—a bear not so far different from the earthly variety. She's no bigger than the largest dog, though better muscled and more bulky than they, though her body has an odd transparency to it, to the point her body seems to be a window to the outer skies, full of stars. The point of her oddly long tail seems to shine with a certain brightness matched only by her eyes, one a yellow-gold and the other a pulsing red.

Time to get to work.

"Now, lad, if you were to find me a long piece of metal or suchlike to stabalize her leg with," he says as he kneels down, "I'd be much obliged."

He nods, eying the bear. A Persona user, as expected. That's good, at least. He scrounges around a bit, looking for something of such use, before settling on what looks to be a length of pipe that must've broken off during some of the chaos. He brings it back to Silver. "This work?" he asks.
