Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

Blues hadn't been in real combat before, although judging by how he has been handling this situation, one couldn't tell. Or at least he was good at hiding it, as he had helped some girl (Ruri) get as close to the stage as possible before he had taken off to try to help out elsewhere.

The elsewhere being in the same area as Spades and Hitsuji. But instead of shouting or firing off some kind of Persona attack at them, considering the robot has no idea how to use his Persona, Blues is just going to use his arm canon and fire one shot at the duo.

There had to be credit where credit was due; kudos to whoever this was for not announcing their arrival like a bombastic hero.

He teleported away just before the cannon's blast made contact, standing a yard or so away from his original position and his gun now out, pointing at Blues with his finger on the trigger as he fire two shots at the him: one aimed the cannon arm, the other for a knee. Let's see how this guy worked....

Hey, Blues wouldn't call himself a hero anyway. An idiot? Yes, because this is probably a stupid idea.

Although being in his armor is probably a good thing, as as soon as he hears the shots fired his shifts his arm cannon back to being... Well a hand, so that bullet will just hit the red armored gauntlet not causing too much damage. Although Blues did do something dumb in trying to make sure the other shot didn't hit him, but his dodge was not so good and instead of hitting a his more armored lower leg it hit a less armored spot. Getting a nice hiss out of the robot, some sparks from the wound, and...

"... Bullets. You're using bullets?" Blues actually sounds confused! A city that can keep people trapped in it and the terrorists are using bullets.

Overhead, there was a dull whooshing noise that was likely drowned out by the chaos - namely, a blue robot boy on a flying red robot dog. There was just so much going on at once, he didn't even know where to start in helping protect people. There was just so many situations going on, and how could he reliably get in there and do things properly...

Then a somewhat familiar sight caught his eyes. Red armor, yellow scarf - that's gotta be Blues.

Even if he's kind of a really big grump, they're still brothers, and he's gonna help Blues out. Steering Rush down into the crowd toward the other robot and inadvertently toward Spades as well. Once they got low enough, he hops off, and Rush converts to his dog form, standing by defensively.

"Blues!"

Yes, definitely a good start to this battle. Friggin pyromaniac heroes with their savior complexes and need to dramatically announce themselves when they appear on the scene...

Hitsuji points a wand at each of the two newcomers, firing off a powerful burst of technicolored magic at each's chest-- normally she'd be a little more careful about where she shoots, but both of them appeared to be much more metallic than human.

Hm. Visitors from an advanced age, he took it?

"You expected us to have more than just bullets?" His tone was surprisingly calm and-- almost pleading, while he ejected the current cartridge in his gun and reloaded it.

"The government's fancy toys don't exactly see the light of day around here."

He gave an almost shrugging motion, before holding his gun up again and firing two shots at Rock as he landed.

Two against two? Maybe there'd be a challenge.

Oh oh, once this is over and done with Blues is totally going to slap Rock upside the head. Because yelling someone's name while joining in the middle of a fight, seriously?

But that's not important, for now, what is is whatever the heck it is that girl shot. Blues' reaction is to just quickly fire some shots at the magic to try and stop it before it gets to close, since hey it can't hurt to try that at least. That and focusing on that means Rock is kind of on his own with being shot at.

Hey, Rock was worried about his brother, alright? And, y'know. He's got more of a kid mentality than Blues has.

Between getting hit with the bullets and the magic, Rock stumbles backwards. The bullets strike his side and shoulder, tearing the latex covering and damaging some of his bodily casing, while the magic blast scorches his chest. Mostly superficial stuff, but they definitely hurt. His hand fades away into a buster-arm barrel, and he points it at Spades. Rush has hunkered down and growls at the masked man, but isn't moving yet. He just needs a couple of moments to get a good bead on that pistol...

"I suppose just asking you to surrender and come quietly is going to be useless, isn't it?"
