Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.

He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

"...Well, I'm not really sure WHY we suddenly have a giant birdfish..." Guybrush whacks the weakned Anoli over the head with the butt of his sword, knocking him out. Once she had a moment to breathe, Elaine... still had no idea what just happened. But at least they were safe for now.

"Y-yes, and explanation would be very nice." She said, trying not to let the sudden pit in her stomach distract her. The last time she visited the room she had discovered something very unpleasant, but now was not the time to bring it up. "In the meantime, dear, perhaps we shouldn't stand in the middle of the free-for-all."

She gestured to the crowds of panicked spectators that were still rushing for the exits, which were now giving the two of them and their magic whale a wide berth.
