It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.

For one week, Hinoto-Ri becomes a city where no lies can exist. Who is responsible for this? Will their dedication to ABSOLUTE TRUTHINESS bring them victory...or defeat?

If someone notices this massive change in the hearts and minds of the citizens... it sure isn't going to be Midori. She's dedicated to truth and justice already.

She is, however, running around the city a lot today, for a reason to bump into her anywhere. Why is she running around?

She's taking pictures of good places to pose.

Congrats, waves of truthiness, Agatha has no idea you are there. Also, she gives precisely zero damns. The only thing that's important is ... Uh ... ... Well, after that conversation with not-ancestor-except-yes-except-??? back during the cyberspace event, she's actually been a little fuzzy on that one.

...Of course the powers that be are not going to let her get out of this unscathed, so she is going to end up sitting on a bench at Midori's next "yay posing" location. From the looks of it, she went to the hospital and helped out some injured people again, because the bandages are back.

When she sees Midori, she just kind of - nods, awkwardly. "...Hi."

"Hi, Agatha." After finishing with the photos, Midori plops down on the bench next to her. "How have you been?"

And that's when the change is made obvious. "Questioning a lot of things on account of a conversation with an alternate version of our most famous - or infamous - ancestor. Doing my duty regardless."

That is a very clear "what the fuck" expression on Aggie's face. Yep. "Um. ... And ... you?"

Those are a lot of words about herself that Agatha is saying. Which is unusual.

"Bored, and missing my friend who went home, and worried about my friend who came here, but otherwise pretty good!"

Huh. She didn't actually mean to say all that either.

Yeah, REALLY. This is bad. This is really bad.

"...I do not know whether to wish you well that your friend has arrived, or attempt to commiserate over the loss."

The internal screaming, it is loud.

Kotoha hasn't really noticed either.

What she has noticed is a girl running around taking pictures, and hey, that seems like something she'd like in on!

"Hi! What are you taking pictures of?"

[prettytamer]

"Places to pose!" Midori replies with a smile. "There's tons of good scenery in this city."

Kotoha pauses and looks around.

"You considered aerial views at all?"

[prettytamer]

"I have, it'd be fun, but how would I get up there?"

[unbroken_chain]

Kotoha grins as she produces a dark green sphere the size of a softball out of her bag, triggering it and releasing a six-winged moth.

"We could fly up there, of course!"

[otakuro]

"Hey, Midori."

Atsuro seems supremely unsurprised at seeing Midori with her camera out as he approaches on the sidewalk. He had spent a lazy Sunday afternoon wandering around the electronics district.

"How's it going?"

[prettytamer]

"It's going okay! Although earlier today someone mentioned that they wanted to grope me and I'm ninety-nine percent sure there's this weird thing going on that makes everybody tell the truth."

Midori looks a little embarrassed. "Like that."

[otakuro]

"...Um."

Atsuro has nothing to respond to that for a few moments but stunned silence.

"Wow. OK. ...Looks like it's time to shut myself up in my room for a week again."

His default response to these kinds of things.

"Did you kick him in the face?"

[prettytamer]

"It was a girl, and no, I didn't." Midori sighs. "Maybe we should both just stay in our rooms for a while."

[otakuro]

"That's... kinda really not cool, truth-telling or not. I mean, you're definitely really attractive, and I can see how you got famous for your photos on the Internet, and I'd ask you on a date if I didn't already have a crush on Yuzu and if I didn't think you and Keisuke were good for each other, but there's a certain line h -- "

"You know what, my apartment's right over there; I'll see you next week."

[electricyousei]

Ruri literally bumps into the other girl, paying more attention to her holoscreen than where's she's going and looks up.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention."

[prettytamer]

"Neither was I! Don't worry about it." Midori looks interested. "What're you looking at?"

[electricyousei]

"I'm compiling a list of all the data points for the city and where the strongest signals are coming from."

[prettytamer]

"Why are you doing that?"

[electricyousei]

"Well, firstly I'd like to be able to defend Omoikane should another virus outbreak happen. He still is unhappy that I simply killed every external feed and left the Nadesico virtually blind. That and I don't trust the people that run this place, not because they're evil but because they come across as incompetent, so I'd like to know what physical hardware is available if I should need to hastily build a backup network."

I'm doing really well, I think I had a significant relationship upgrade with one of my friends and also two people called me pretty while forced to tell the truth.

There's a truth-telling thing going on by the way. You probably should invest in duct tape.
