The Search for the Newcomers, November 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city, anywhere from the 5th to the 20th.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

The COMPS had been upgraded with a new program, HORUS which allowed them to spot abnormalities; if something or someone showed up suddenly in a city that was constantly scanned, then there was a high probability it was a newcomer. There was also a sort of left energy from the travel; the Wise Men called it leftover Magatama Residue, where the magical energy used to pull them to this world and keep the String intact was still faintly present around them. It wouldn't last more than a few minutes, however, and due to the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult. As the blips appear on your radar function, they were nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there.

Now it was just left up to chance and make sure you got there fast enough that you were still able to find them relatively easily. For the most part, the fact they stuck out would most certainly help...

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[Philemon has a really, really, really bad sense of humor. Or just a really, really, really bad sense of timing. Whichever the reason, it does not bode well for Shiki Misaki. Just when she thought that they were finally being sent back to the RG, she found herself levitating in midair and then gravity kicked in (of course), making her fall down towards the ground at an alarming speed.]

[Like, turning into a freaking meteor levels of worse. She'll pick herself up and shake her head a bit, rubbing her temples to try and get the headache out of her system.]

Damn, that stings... [She then turns to the girl that just turned her into a temporary, not to mention ineffectual, trampoline.] You're not too hurt, are you?

[Because clearly the first thing to do is worry about someone else instead of yourself.]

[It was actually Ea who alerted him first before the scream made it to his ears. While Genesis is quite strong, he was, unfortunately, not strong enough to actually stay on his feet. Quickly, he had positioned himself since he didn't want the girl to actually smack into the ground but also didn't want her landing on him either.

Which meant that, upon catching her in his arms, he fell to the ground with her. But at least he was able to give her a nice, cushy landing! And feeling his arms were just ripped out of his sockets. Ow. Still, he'd suffered worse.

Sitting up, the girl now in his lap, he grunted softly.]

Do you normally fall from the sky or are you just special?

[No, that wasn't a pick up line. She is the only person to arrive via falling (as far as he knew, anyway). So he was genuinely curious.]

[Whoa, geez! No need to flail! That is not something he wants with someone in his lap. But here, have a Ninetales sniffing at your face to calm you down. She's wondering why someone just landed on her trainer.]

[Oh, hello Ninetales. She kind of stops and stares for a bit while the fox-like creature sniffs at her.]

Oh! [Shiki holds out her hand for Ninetales to sniff.] Hi there...

[While Shiki was distraced by Ea, Genesis gently, but swiftly, lifted the girl up from his lap and onto the ground. Seriously, he would like to get up now. Brushing off his pants and what no one would call a coat.

Ea licked her hand before looking at Genesis.

Ninetales~! [She deemed the girl nice.]

Her name is Ea.

[... That scream sounds familiar what is going o -]

[OW SHIKI THAT'S HIS BACK! Neku goes toppling to the pavement.]

Crap!

[... Wait.]

... Shiki?

[Please get off his back. You're skinny but that's still more weight on his back than he wants.]

[Groaning and wait... She knows that voice!]

Neku?

[Looking over and yep, that is her partner on the pavement.]

Omigosh, Neku??!

[She gets off of him and once he was standing straight Shiki just loops her arms around him and pull him into a hug. She was really freaked, okok? :V Last time she saw Neku, Joshua pulled the trigger on him.]

Neku, you're okay! You're okay!!!

[Oh geez sudden vaguely intimate contact how does it work - ... but he is glad to see Shiki again. So he doesn't break the hug away immediately... just after a few moments.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Glad you showed up.

[But that kind of hurt, maybe he should summon Narasimha - wait.]

Uh. Guessing from how you just showed up out of nowhere, no one explained this Persona thing to you yet, did they?

['Cause he's well aware Narasimha looks kind of like a Noise. He doesn't want to freak her out. More than usual, at least.]

It's a part of yourself that you can summon, etc. They look freaky, but they've got abilities sort of like pins. You can't really use those here.

[There's a brief blue glow, and Narasimha appears behind him. He casts Diarama and then fades.]

Riku lifts his head, eyes widening when he hears that familiar voice shout, head snapping up as he lungs forward to break her fall.
