The Search for the Newcomers, November 2012 Edition.

Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city, anywhere from the 5th to the 20th.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.

The COMPS had been upgraded with a new program, HORUS which allowed them to spot abnormalities; if something or someone showed up suddenly in a city that was constantly scanned, then there was a high probability it was a newcomer. There was also a sort of left energy from the travel; the Wise Men called it leftover Magatama Residue, where the magical energy used to pull them to this world and keep the String intact was still faintly present around them. It wouldn't last more than a few minutes, however, and due to the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult. As the blips appear on your radar function, they were nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there.

Now it was just left up to chance and make sure you got there fast enough that you were still able to find them relatively easily. For the most part, the fact they stuck out would most certainly help...

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

[Groaning and wait... She knows that voice!]

Neku?

[Looking over and yep, that is her partner on the pavement.]

Omigosh, Neku??!

[She gets off of him and once he was standing straight Shiki just loops her arms around him and pull him into a hug. She was really freaked, okok? :V Last time she saw Neku, Joshua pulled the trigger on him.]

Neku, you're okay! You're okay!!!

[Oh geez sudden vaguely intimate contact how does it work - ... but he is glad to see Shiki again. So he doesn't break the hug away immediately... just after a few moments.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Glad you showed up.

[But that kind of hurt, maybe he should summon Narasimha - wait.]

Uh. Guessing from how you just showed up out of nowhere, no one explained this Persona thing to you yet, did they?

['Cause he's well aware Narasimha looks kind of like a Noise. He doesn't want to freak her out. More than usual, at least.]

[Well, the word does ring a bell at least. She shakes her head.]

Nope. Not yet, anyway.

It's a part of yourself that you can summon, etc. They look freaky, but they've got abilities sort of like pins. You can't really use those here.

Anyway, just. Don't freak out.

[There's a brief blue glow, and Narasimha appears behind him. He casts Diarama and then fades.]

[Too late, Neku. When Narasimha appears, Shiki's eyes widen in shock, her jaw dropped at the sight.]

W-what?? H-how--That came from you?!!

Yeah. It's uh... kind of weird. But you have one too. Everyone brought here does. And it lets us use powers kind of like pin powers. It's easier to summon it in the hour after midnight at first, though.

[spaztastic]

[Okay, that does sound pretty cool but it begs a few questions.]

... Why? Is this another Game?

[She'll get to the hour after midnight later.]

As fa as I can tell, no.

[He crosses his arms and is quiet for a moment.]

Supposedly we're here to help fix the world, blah blah... I'm not sure how much of that crap I believe, but there are weird things that show up here sometimes.

[Whoa, fix the world? That's new... It's probably better than fighting for your life for 7 days. >w>]

Weird things? Like, during that hour after midnight?

Yeah - well, kind of. More than even then. Let's just say last month was... special... towards the end. Scorpions everywhere.

[We're not talking about the multiboobed scorpion he had to fight okay.]

Yikes. And I thought fighting Noise was pretty bad. These things were worse?

[He sighs. Ugh... well. At least it might be a little more tolerable with her here. Maybe.]

Look, you should have an ID card on you. It should have where you're living printed on it. They give you a free apartment, so I might as well give you a hand getting there.

Oh! Okay, hold on...

[Digging into her pockets--]

Found it! Um, "Libra 8-08"?

We're in the same building then. I'm in Libra 9-02. There's a train system we can use to get over to that district... there's a map on your weird watch thing too.

[Shiki looks down on her wrist and sure enough, there was watch there. And she finally realizes something.

Mr. Mew wasn't anywhere in her arms.]

AHHHHH! Where the heck's Mr. Mew???

[... Oh right. He should have noticed he was gone.]

He might be in your apartment. All my stuff was there when I got here, too. The pig should be there with everything else.

Ugh! Let's just go to the train station, okay??

[She stops shaking him, absently taking his wrist into one hand and dragging him to where she thinks the train station is.

Which is probably in the opposite direction.]

[At least he's not saying it like an insult anymore? It's a term of affection, shh.]
