When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[Aqua is the first to the scene due to a strange pulling in the direction of where it would appear...

...unfortunately right now it looks like Oblivion and not Departure due to it being the 13th hour. Them's the breaks.]

[She was working in the Capricorn District as usual that night. Keyword being was, because the moment things began to change, she felt led to the Aquarius district. She normally didn't take to the blood red skies on her Glider, but this was an exception. She couldn't ignore the strange inkling as she glided by building after building, occasionally sniping a demon or Shadow that had been chasing her with a light arrow.

It wasn't long for her to realize why, either.

The moment the castle came into view, a lump formed in her throat. Aqua stared as she hovered there in the air, nearly in shock for a moment before dismissing her Glider and gently falling to the ground.

This was...]

Home... [What was going on? Why was this here...?

[Xion is following a pull of her own when she recieves Aqua's message, but the words are enough that she stumbles slowing down, eyes wide]

What...? Castle Oblivion? Here? But... but how...?!

[Her voice across the link is full of shock, unease, and something a little harder to identify. Why was that place - of all places - here!?]

I'm not sure, but... something is off. I'm sensing a few new places as well.

[Ugh this is confusing. Between the mental distress at hearing Castle Oblivion was here, the tug she was still feeling...]

New places...? Is that why I... [she shakes her head] I have to find something.

[ The Knight-Errant of Malcador stands outside the gates of the castle, looking up on it. His eyes are narrowed under his helm, and he seems to be waiting. Uncertain what he'll find within. Not afraid.... just wondering what sort of foes he'll face. ]

[She can see this, once the shock of the place she created having suddenly arrived here. The words her Master had said before ring in her mind. A warning, for any who venture in without her.]

...Be careful, if you go inside. [It's a fair warning, even if she has the feeling someone isn't afraid at all.] The foes you face may not be the real danger.

Mmm? Is the environment itself a hazard, then?

[ He looks all over the castle, clearly taking it in, almost recording it within his helmet. ]

A place you know, perhaps?

Given we're maxed out, someone's getting that message

[... well. ... That definitely caught his attention faster than watching her fly out of the Capricorn District had.

He doesn't respond. Instead, he just calls his Glider and heads off in the direction he can feel her Light in.

Seeing that castle coming into view as he approaches the Aquarius district just makes his blood almost freeze inside him. Why here? Why couldn't it have been like in Promenade, in it's pre-transformed or pre-destroyed state?

And what the hell would be inside that castle, if it was here with all the demons and Shadows?]

[Aqua waits for him at the door, still staring up at the outside of the place she created all those years ago. A part of her is almost afraid that if she enters and heads for a certain chamber, she'll find Ven there... fast asleep... and at the same time, afraid that he won't be there (logic dictates it's the latter, but still... she can hope, right?)

She tears her gaze from it in favor of looking to Terra when he gets closer. What was going on...?]

[Castle Oblivion kind of puts his own news to shame. What's an ice cream parlor compared to... to this?

He dismisses his Glider while he's still in mid-air and lands not far from the front door. Okay. These doors were even creepier during the Dark Hour. Looking at Aqua now, and seeing that confusion. If the ice cream parlor had been anything to go by, then...

Right. Not an isolated incident.] New places are popping up all over the city.

[Looking back at the castle now. Light above, that sinking feeling is getting worse.] ... Do you think we'll find anything in there?

[It's the Dark Hour; anything could happen.]

[Did the castle back in the TV World have this same kind of uneasiness like the one in front of her does?

A small part of her is saying to explore but the logical side is telling Yukiko to stay put. What should she do?]

[Well, she wouldn't know at all. She was never in the TV unless you count her video game but shh, fourth wall.

She may find a familiar-looking woman with blue hair lightly pressing her hand on the large doors, almost looking as though she's about to open them and enter alone. Unease? What's that? She knows this castle like the back of her hand.]

[Well, that was new.

Masamune's eye narrowed as he stares up at this place, hand at his hip. He does, however, let out a low whistle.]

Just when I thought this place couldn't get any crazier.

I'm beginning to think that this place has a habit of wanting to keep us on our toes.

[Understatement. Especially considering what this place is.]

[Riku startles when he hears Aqua's voice echo through her mind, frowning into the far, starring at the dark horizon before him before just shaking his head.]

...I wish I could say I'm surprised.

[Though... given where he's standing right now himself, it doesn't seem all that surprising at all. If this place had appeared... then Castle Oblivion would also be kind of logical.]

[Not that poor Eikichi had ever been to Disneyland, but at least he knew like nearly every kid what it was...]

It does look like a castle...

[But maybe they should stay away from it for now? All these buildings popping up out of nowhere...]

[No seriously, what's that? ...And why was Aqua standing so close to it, as if she'd just exited the strange structure? Though, considering it's her home, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise.]

Meetra looks up at the edifice that just appeared, wondering where, precisely, it came from. It doesn't exactly look like the Mictlan...

To be honest, she wasn't sure whether to agree, or to say 'thank you.' Considering what it was, though... she went with the former.

"Mm. it is, isn't it."

"Any idea where it came from?"
