When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Extra Long OOC Blurb

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[Hey, new monsters! Time for a "monster hunter" to strut his stuff.]

[...well, not so much strutting his stuff and flinging exploding Mandragora at things. You can probably hear the screaming of the demonic plant before it explodes from a mile away...]

We'll call this for Wednesday, all right?

[All this screaming is bothering her, so she's going to investigate. And start shouting at you without bothering to confirm facts.]

Excuse me, but I can hear you screaming from another district! What is going on that you need to be so loud?!

[This is... not a side of her that people usually see.]

Hunh?

[Of course, the answer to the screaming was soon answered. Soma was in the middle of chucking another Mandragora when she shouted. Unfortunately, it came into being just enough, and let out a scream as it exploded... right in Soma's hand. He let out a cough, wiping plant guts from his face.]

It's all right. Throwing these things is the easiest way to clear out a lot of monsters.

[Aw man, his coat is stained too. That's going to take a lot to clean out. Sheesh...]

[ Integra seems to be generally enjoying herself. Well, one would be able to tell if they knew her well enough; most others would just see the stoic woman nonchalantly slicing through monsters here and there.

A loud screaming noise has caught her attention, though; and fortunately for her it isn't all that far away, so she goes to investigate. Somehow, when she arrives on the scene and takes notice that it's Soma... she's not really all that surprised. ]

...Well, there's something I've never seen before.

[whitedarklord]

[Soma turned toward her in mild surprise, raising an eyebrow. It was about time they met up again... that tea date always seemed to be getting postponed for one reason or another.]

You've never seen Mandragora?

[integra_hellsing]

Is that what it's called? No, I've never seen it before.

[ She shrugged, before flicking some unsavory monster... bits off of her sword in the opposite direction, before turning her attention back to Soma. ]

How have you been?

Well enough.

[He spared her a small smile.]

Sorry we keep missing each other. I've been busy looking into colleges and their entrance exams.

Good to hear.

[ She nodded to him, before smirking. ]

That's far more important, anyways, so there's no need to apologize.

Our situation is important as well.

[He slid his hands into his pockets.]

I still want to help you, with that organization you mentioned.

Geeze that is an awful pitch. Minato's completely unsure whether he wants to go investigate or go find ear plugs. But for better or worse, the former impulse wins out, and he rounds a corner in time to see Soma fling a plant thing, hear it screech and ... see it explode.

Well. ]

What is that?

[ Soma seems to have monster hunting well in hand, but... it's a valid question to interrupt him with! ]

[Oh, hey, it was the kid from when he first arrived. Soma gave him a small nod of acknowledgement, at least having the grace to look a bit sheepish.]

Mandragora. One of my powers.

The... monster powers, right? Like being a bat?

[ He's hoping he remembers things rightly! But... also to ... delay Soma using it again, because ow his ears are still ringing a bit. ]

*Says a witch hovering nearby, her ears covered, as a large, slightly insane-looking man cheerfully blasts some other demons away with lightning.*

[Soma paused at that, looking between the witch and the persona behind her... not... really sure how to take that.]

You should be! Honestly, a mandragora, in a place like this. You know a improperly used mandragora can kill the weak don't you? You shouldn't just throw it around willy nilly.

[Soma paused at that, glancing at the last monster that he had last destroyed.]
