When it is darkest, men see the stars...

The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge....

...or that's what was supposed to happen.

That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.

It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.

Something was very wrong.

New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...

Alright 13th hour post!

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.

For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

[And the first demon lumbers down the alley once they're both in there. Asem immediately raises his gun and plugs the demon right between the eyes.]

[If it wasn't down already, Aoi is quick to slash it away with a swipe of her naginata. At a time like this, she really has no choice but to fight on the front lines, right?

Right.

And thankfully, they're all attacking one by one, making it easier to take them down bit by bit. Her skill with the naginata is mostly technical, but that paired up with the power granted by the dragon stream is enough for a particularly effective combination.]

Hey! Can you knock the bodies back at the other demons before they disappear?

[eyewillprotect]

Got it!

[With a hard stab, she skewers a demon, and is able to fling it back just as Asuno asked.]

[second_destiny]

[It flies into the demons behind it, toppling them over.]

Get back! I'm throwing a grenade!

[He grabs a grenade, pulls the pin, and throws it.]

[eyewillprotect]

[She doesn't even give a verbal reply, instead using her power to augment her leap back, easily clearing enough distance to stay safely out of the grenade's area of damage.]

[second_destiny]

[The grenade explodes, cracking the street and the building walls and kicking up dust. When it settles, it's clear that the grenade did plenty of damage. The dead demons dissipate, leaving behind a few that were severely wounded by the blast.]

[eyewillprotect]

[Once the coast is clear, she rushes ahead again, making quick work of the remaining wounded with her naginata alone. See? She can totally fight! Mooks, at least.]

Did-- Did we get them all?

[second_destiny]

I think so. Stay on your guard, though.

[eyewillprotect]

Of course.

[She begins cautiously walking towards the end of the alleyway, checking for any other demons...]

[second_destiny]

[Asem keeps his senses peeled. There's no signs of them...]

[She never quite relaxes her guard even as she moves out of the alleyway. But even still, a floating enemy manages to catch her unawares with a swipe of its scythe.]

Ah-!

[...Only for a many-armed woman to appear over her, swiping at it with a Cleave attack.]

I am thou, thou art I...

Together, we shall save this broken world.

[And with that done, it vanishes, leaving the Reapette reeling but still quite alive. Aoi, for her part, is stunned from the sudden appearance of what was unmistakably her long-sought Persona. Even now, its name echoed in her mind:]

Janguli...?

[second_destiny]

Crap! Are you -- huh?!

[Well, that was a surprise. Asem looked in surprise for a few seconds, before shaking his head and firing a couple of shots at the reapette.]

[eyewillprotect]

[She shakes her head in an effort to drag herself back to the real world. Focus! This is a fight!

The Reapette takes damage, but is still barely hanging on. When it takes another swipe at Aoi, she's only just able to get her naginata up in time to block.]

Ghk-!

[second_destiny]

Dammit!

[This time, Asem aims for the eyes. He empties a few more shots into the Reapette, hopefully finishing the job.]

[eyewillprotect]

[And so he does! She manages to get the Reapette away from her with a swipe of her naginata, and the body disappears mid-air.

Aoi for her part leans her weight on her naginata. Now that the fight's over and done with, the adrenaline rush has left her shaky from a combination of shock and the battle itself.]

Whew... Thank you, Asuno. I'm sorry, I was caught off guard. [As ashamed as she is to admit it...]

[second_destiny]

It's all right. Just be more careful next time.

[eyewillprotect]

...Right. Thanks.

[She lifts her naginata again, casting a look about to see if there are any more enemies. This time, she's even more cautious as she looks to the air.]

...I think the area really is clear this time.

[second_destiny]

Then let's move. The apartments aren't too far from here. If we get there, we're home free.

[eyewillprotect]

The nearest one should be Libra, right?

[She begins to move!]

[second_destiny]

Yeah. And there's a teleporter there, too.

[Asem doesn't know which building Aoi is living in, but at least he knows he can get back home easily from the Libra District. He follows quickly, keeping his senses tuned for any more threats.]

[eyewillprotect]

Are you in the other apartments, then?

[Since he mentioned the teleporter and all... but she doesn't exactly turn to him as she speaks either, instead focused on moving while keeping on the lookout for danger. Still seems clear for now...]

[second_destiny]

Yeah. Pisces 801. I just hope they got the kinks fixed, because I don't want to get dumped in the pool in the middle of winter.

[eyewillprotect]

I heard about that... I hope they have fixed it, too. I wouldn't want to end up in the pool, either, especially if I was just trying to visit a friend.

[A pause for thought, and then:]

Maybe I could teleport with you? If we do end up over the water, I think I could stop us before we fell in.
