What: Closing Arena Ceremonies, Part 2
Where: Aries Arena & Televised
Summary: 1/24/10AC
Warnings: This could get serious...but who knows.
Finally it was time for the mayor, Kazuki Sakahagi, to speak up. Not even an thirty minutes left to the celebrations, but seeing him go appeared to be lighting up a spark in the citizens. It wasn't too hard to see why; his enthusiastic grin and way of walking could easily melt anyone's worry away.
He walked to the center stage as cheering broke out, two men in black and Junko Tanako behind him.

When her persona attacked however, there's almost a glint in his eye, if you could see through the holes in his mask well enough. He immediately teleported back to Hitsuji, but this time standing in front of her, and holding his hand above him. The entire effect and energy from Ector's attack flew towards his fingers, until it looked to seep through is gloves and disappeared completely.
He had absorbed the attack in its entirety.
He brought his hand back down and balled it up into a fist, the satisfied smirk on his face basically implied. "Well that was nice of you. Nail 'er, Hitsuji."

The projectiles fly towards Arturia to impact into her skin, but they've been redirected towards less important areas rather than the vitals they were aimed for previously. After all, she wasn't supposed to kill-- but painfully maiming and otherwise incapacitating was never crossed off of the list!
Gah. Sorry. Wound up passing out last night.
However, with that many projectiles aimed at her, there was only so long she could last before she got hit. A piece of metal shot through her shin, breaking the bone, and Arturia cried out as she fell to her knees before another sliced her side. Not deep enough to be lethal, but it was painful. And a third shot through her arm, barely missing the socket of her shoulder, but it was otherwise useless to her now.
s'all good
"By the by, I wouldn't pull those out if I were you, dear-- You'll bleed out in no time with wounds that big."

"I don't think she'll be getting up any time soon. Good try, though."

If she died here then.... then who would help Rin back home? What would her Uncle say? Arturia didn't want to die so she clung to consciousness as long as she could before passing out, hoping against hope someone--anyone--would find her before she succumbed to her wounds.
If she ever met these two again in the future, so help her, she would make sure they paid for this. She would not so easily succumb to them next time.
(ooc: Don't worry. I'm arranging someone to come find her before she bleeds out. o7)

Well, he told Fumie, didn't he? He had to make sure no more folks ended up like she did. He curses himself a bit for not having a proper healing Persona as he bends down and lifts her up. Awkwardly. Damn, she's heavy. Or maybe he's just weak? Maybe both. He eventually manages to move her to a slightly easier to handle position over his shoulders before moving along, looking for somebody SLIGHTLY less useless than him right now.

Though perhaps not an entirely strange sight, given the demonic population, though John Silver is certainly not one of their kind. The ursid can be found carefully carrying himself about the rubble, navigating around the damaged stadium with care, apparently as yet unharmed by the chaos. When Silver spots Nick in the distance, and the woman he carries, his face twists into a visage of apparent, growing concern. He's pretty sure he sees blood.
"Now, who have you got there, lad?"

"Aye, that I may. Lie her down gentle, lad, n' we'll see what can be done."

And he also did not have access to a Persona.
After a moment, he taps his temples. "Polaris, m'dear."
And within a few, long moments, Silver's Persona heeds his call. Her hazy outline winks into life on the battlefield—a bear not so far different from the earthly variety. She's no bigger than the largest dog, though better muscled and more bulky than they, though her body has an odd transparency to it, to the point her body seems to be a window to the outer skies, full of stars. The point of her oddly long tail seems to shine with a certain brightness matched only by her eyes, one a yellow-gold and the other a pulsing red.
Time to get to work.
"Now, lad, if you were to find me a long piece of metal or suchlike to stabalize her leg with," he says as he kneels down, "I'd be much obliged."
