Ahh Autumn. The time for harvest, and the normal national holiday that falls on the 24th and 25th. Demons? Angels? Magic? Well nothing's been put on pause, but even the Anoli need to relax once in a while...

With that free time, what's a newcomer like you to do?

Well Hinoto-Ri has much to offer! As they seem to be the only standing city in...well, anywhere, they've tried to merge and adapt as many festivals around the world as they can.

Ergo this Fall festival is a mixture of everything the world could offer. Corn on the cob, Pumpkins, Yaki Imo (Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes), Ramen stands, Falafel, caramelized apples...

A giant dragon is tied down in the middle of the waters. At night, you can see a few pixies hover close to it, keeping other monsters at bay. The streets have been decorated as well.

But most importantly, the upper Virgo Ward has been turned in a giant festival area...even more so than usual! Now the millions of stalls don't just try to sell things to you, they sell things to you thematically with this fall! Giant pumpkins and fresh produce made in Libra and Capricorn..did you know that Capicorn has an amazing giant apple orchid, protected by the office of Wands and Swords? Try out some free samples! One taste is enough to convince you that having Persona to irrigate the fields ass a crispness to the fruit..right? Winter outfits...hats are in this year! Listen to some of the new music groups, and get pumped for the upcoming movies!

There is giant mooncake in the middle of all the tents and stalls. Don't worry about the money! Everything's free today! It is a time for sharing and family and...

...being thankful for what you have. No matter how small it might be.

For a city of survivors, Hinoto-Ri is certainly trying to have a good time.

Oh gee, thanks. The second Yamato muttered 'monster', Alcor's sides pushed out defensively, but he wrapped himself up in his wire just as quickly. More like puffing his cheeks out, than anything?

"I am not a monster, or a weirdo, Yamato Hotsuin. There was a time when even you did not believe such nonsense."

Harumph! Gradually, he de-puffed back to, er, "normal".

"While I do not agree with you, I have come to accept your current position as infallible, however. You will continue to see me as an enemy, even here." He actually managed to sigh somehow, before drawing a slight bit closer. "Even if such is so, I do not wish to fight you. You may have your feelings, but I will have mine."

And then a moment that seemed to take him a while. "...the Shining One believes in my feelings. Otherwise I would not, myself."

Now even the nice presence of takoyaki was beginning to lose its calming effect when Alcor shifted into offensive mode, but Yamato just agitatedly stuffed more takoyaki into his mouth, scowling at a lantern far off to the side.

"That was a long time ago," he muttered quietly. A very long time indeed...when he had viewed Alcor as a presence of safety.

Sadly the last of the takoyaki was gone, and Yamato stared at the empty plate, still having a compulsive need to keep eating. It made him feel somewhat composed in Alcor's...Septentrione presence. He lifted his gaze up, glancing at the other being from the corner of his eye.

"...Kaito likes to see the good in everyone, even if it isn't there," he replied after a pause, his tone subdued. "I agree, however...I have no desire to fight you."

What would the point be now?

Whew, okay, at least they agreed on something.

"That is why he is shining. His hope, and his will, are beyond all that I have observed."

If this were a more proper persona set-up, there would be a girly flowers emote here.

"...however, I will likewise respect your space. I have given you an apology present for my previous incident. I would like to see us as even, and leave it at that."

"..." Even Yamato thought those praises were a bit much, and his ~yearning~ for Kaito was unmatched by any other (except Alcor of course).

"Yes," he finally said once he recovered. "Perhaps that is best..."

This was such a bizarre situation that Yamato found himself slightly wrong-footed, and it wasn't a feeling he enjoyed that much. He wasn't entirely sure what his emotions were feeling right now, and the conflicting whirlpool of them was just making him feel decidedly nauseous for some reason.

Hm, maybe there was something off with that takoyaki after all.

"...although, I doubt one plate of takoyaki is enough to settle the fact that you tried to kill me at one point," Yamato said idly. Hey, in his world, he never tried to kill you even once (because Ronaldo killed him first but semantics).

"...from my perspective, I never once tried to kill you."

Casually leaves out the part where he actually, uh, did kill you because you sort of gave him no better choice, so let's move on-

"I am unsure, then, how to settle the fact."

What, he's being honest!

"What does one usually do in these situations? I fear we may both be lacking in the department of such social behaviors."

Yamato's expression could only be described as 'no shit'.

"...in a way we are no longer at odds," Yamato said after a brief pause, "And we share a common ally. The fact of the matter is is that we will be forced to interact at some point, possibly multiple times, due to our relationship with Kaito."

He grimaced, thoroughly mortified that he was even considering this idea. He didn't want to consider it. It was Alcor of all things, that - being who- hrngh. Yamato didn't really want to...

"Therefore, I...suggest we...form a...truce, in a way. We will...assist Kaito to the best of our abilities, even...if we...are forced to...work. Together."

You do not know how hard it was for Yamato to force that out.

For a moment, Alcor seemed to simply stop. Cease bobbing, staying perfectly in place mid-air, as if he too were shocked by Yamato's statements.

And then he reacted like a spring, covering his entire body in that damn impossible wire of his. Whatever the hell that meant, it wasn't something he was going to address- star body language sure was confusing!

"I...agree."

Still, Alcor didn't expect Yamato to bring that to the 'floor'. Ever. Even if he'd seen it on the akashic record, he would have just thought his sight was failing him.

"At the very least, for the Shining One's sake. I do not wish to upset him, or Daichi Shijima."

Yamato's entire posture was stiff and defensive, his eyes slightly narrowed from Alcor's reaction. He let out a bad-tempered snort at Alcor's words, shifting his body away as he glowered at a nearby lantern. All frosty barbed wire coated walls were up at full force.

"Of course," he said curtly, crossing his arms over his chest. "For Kaito's sake."

...well, now what.

"I am glad we are able to agree, even if only so much."

Another truth, even if Yamato didn't care too much for Alcor's ~~delicate feefees~~ feelings on...feelings. It was mostly for the benefit of saying it. He probably wasn't going to get another chance at this.

"I would like for you to be happy here, Yamato Hotsuin."

Aaaaand he's just gonna...hover away before you try to holy dance him or something, k cool bye.

Yamato started at Alcor's parting words, and watched the Septentrione float away into the festival crowds. He dropped his gaze to the blanket on the floor, his expression subdued before he let out a small scoff and turned sharply on his heel.

"Ridiculous..."

It was only a temporary truce brought on by necessity. That is all.
