Ahh Autumn. The time for harvest, and the normal national holiday that falls on the 24th and 25th. Demons? Angels? Magic? Well nothing's been put on pause, but even the Anoli need to relax once in a while...

With that free time, what's a newcomer like you to do?

Well Hinoto-Ri has much to offer! As they seem to be the only standing city in...well, anywhere, they've tried to merge and adapt as many festivals around the world as they can.

Ergo this Fall festival is a mixture of everything the world could offer. Corn on the cob, Pumpkins, Yaki Imo (Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes), Ramen stands, Falafel, caramelized apples...

A giant dragon is tied down in the middle of the waters. At night, you can see a few pixies hover close to it, keeping other monsters at bay. The streets have been decorated as well.

But most importantly, the upper Virgo Ward has been turned in a giant festival area...even more so than usual! Now the millions of stalls don't just try to sell things to you, they sell things to you thematically with this fall! Giant pumpkins and fresh produce made in Libra and Capricorn..did you know that Capicorn has an amazing giant apple orchid, protected by the office of Wands and Swords? Try out some free samples! One taste is enough to convince you that having Persona to irrigate the fields ass a crispness to the fruit..right? Winter outfits...hats are in this year! Listen to some of the new music groups, and get pumped for the upcoming movies!

There is giant mooncake in the middle of all the tents and stalls. Don't worry about the money! Everything's free today! It is a time for sharing and family and...

...being thankful for what you have. No matter how small it might be.

For a city of survivors, Hinoto-Ri is certainly trying to have a good time.

The space marine stands by Giant dragon, watching it with interest. Even with his helm on, his stance suggests a certain amusement, rather than watchfulness, for once.

By the vendor stalls

[Ruri quietly walks down the street, looking over the vendors but keeping her distance, occasionally glancing over at a ramen cart and then staring at the ground for a bit. She has a small flute tied to the purse in her arms and seems to have an aura of distance from the festival about her as she continues down the street.]

"I should have left this with my things at home."

Yamato is a bit...overwhelmed by all of this. It was like stepping into an alien world with the amount of strange decorations and activity swirling around him. So don't be surprised to see Yamato wandering about aimlessly, looking a little lost...]

Oh you know Yu is here, and he brought his appetite.

Okay, so that's not entirely accurate; he's not chowing down on everything in sight, but hey, free food? Was he going to complain? Absolutely not. He's on his own at the moment, but he's totally keeping an eye out for familiar faces... you know, when he doesn't have his face in an apple... or a slice of mooncake... or something equally delicious.

Hey, you know what? He conquered Aiya's rainy-day-only nikudon special. This is nothing.

By the vendor stalls

"And why is that?" Rumbles a huge figure that is also eyeing the ramen cart from under his helmet.

"Something that may have been appropriate somewhere else."

Even with all the amazing and beautiful food stalls, the majestic, glowing dragon was what caught Oboro's eyes. Leaving the crowd behind, she walked quietly down the path leading to the edge of the water where the brightly-lit beast stood. When she was near enough, she could see the shadowed back of a large person, but with a closer view, Oboro could see that part of the bulkiness came from his armor.

"Oh, someone is here..." she hesitated for a moment, hoping she would not be bothering him. At the same time, Oboro realized it would be rude to say nothing, so she approached him from his side quietly. "Aa... good evening, Lord Samurai, please forgive me if I am disturbing you. I only want to see the dragon as well. Please do not mind my presence."

After listening to Kotetsu's incessant whining for too long, Barnaby finally caved in and allowed the man to drag him to the Autumn Festival. The splashes of orange and yellow brought by fresh pumpkins and corn weren't unusual, but the hodgepodge of cultures took him by surprise. Stern Bild had a variety of festivals, it was true, but he didn't think he'd ever seen one that combined so many different elements like this. The glowing, red street lamps and large dragon that dominated the water gave him plenty to look at.

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the two of them to become separated by the throng of people. With so many stalls, Barnaby wouldn't have been surprised if Kotetsu had wandered off to round up as much Japanese festival food as he could for Barnaby to try, getting swallowed by the crowd in the process.

What an idiot, he inwardly grumbled, even if he didn't completely mean it.

Although he was keenly aware of his surroundings, the area was still too unfamiliar to him for his liking. Masking any discomfort he may have felt, Barnaby approached someone he thought he'd seen in passing before.

"Excuse me," he politely cut in, interrupting whatever they were doing, "but have you seen an old man wearing a vest and a green dress shirt? I think he might have gotten lost."

Where there are pumpkins, there is a Link.

He is not, for the record, wearing his green tunic (why would he? The thing's baggy as all heck, to say nothing of the chainmail), but something more modern. A sweater and jeans, basically.

And pumpkins. Though he's not wearing them, thank goodness.

It took a little self-prodding, but Ludwig made himself go to the festival. It wasn't like he was a stranger to big festivals with lots of food, anyway (Oktoberfest, anyone?). This festival had an enjoyable enough atmosphere, he could say that much. It would take a little poking to get him to admit it, but he enjoyed an atmosphere of merriment and joy (again... Oktoberfest!).

For now, Ludwig was just walking around the festival, surveying the food and the people. Maybe he'd sample something later...

Ludwig couldn't help but chuckle at this young man who was clearly enjoying himself. "Well? What do you recommend? Of the food, I mean." Hey, Ludwig wanted to get his munch on a bit, too...

Yu swallowed down the last bit of mooncake; if he was ashamed of being caught chowing down by a stranger, he didn't show it. He paused a moment, considering the item he had left on hand -- a Yaka Imo -- before offering it to the blonde.

"These are good," he supplied.

"The sweet potatoes, hm?" He eyed the treat, unsure if he was really being offered it or not (and he could get his own if he wasn't). "They're not quite the type of potatoes I prefer most, but I should really give them a try."

"You should," Yu replied, before motioning it to him again. "You can have this one. I've already had three."

...oh, wait. "Be sure to blow on it first."

In one of the booths, someone has kindly set up a karaoke machine. It plays a mixture of music unique to this city and hit tunes that somehow seem to have materialized from other worlds. Perhaps it is a karaoke machine from the sea of the soul? But whether you're in the mood for something familiar or something brand new, this machine has it all.

Are you ready to show off your voice and your moves?

No? Well go have some more alcohol first to drown out your shame! Come on, it's lots of fun!

You might even catch a few wallflowers showing their stuff--!

Someone seems to be enjoying himself at the karaoke booth. If you've met this blue-haired teen before, you might be a little surprised to find him up there, singing shamelessly and clearly enjoying himself, given that otherwise he's normally pretty reserved and quiet...

Or maybe not. Everyone's got their hobbies, right? One of Minato's just happens to be karaoke, and his voice isn't at all bad to listen to, either. He's no opera singer, but he does seem to have some musical inclination, at least, even if he's not trained in singing.

He may or may not be being deliberately silly with adding in a few dorky dance moves to songs he really likes, but he doesn't get too carried away with such extraneous movement, since singing is what he's really enjoying here. Since he's having so much fun, you know you want to join him ... right?

...he's fairly unsure about jumping up there and joining Minato, but he will offer him applause when he finishes a song. Really, he is pretty good... guess there was a reason he always saw him with a pair of headphones (now he had to wonder what Yosuke's excuse was...).

The applesauce startles Minato a little, as he's more used to singing in a private booth, but he manages to swallow it and offer a weak smile in gratitude. He pauses a moment before holding the mic out to Yu.

"Ah -- I think it's your turn next?"

Though if Yu is particularly uncertain... there is an extra mic available for moral support duets.

CUE AWKWARD NOISE. No, hold on, let him get his Persona's wife first--

...okay, what? Shut up, Izanagi. Don't confuse him like that.

He let out a breath. Okay, he can do this. He has a maxed out courage stat; this will be easy! Up he went, into the booth. Yu paused, glancing at the extra mic, before returning his focus to Minato.

"...do you want to do a duet?"

"What is a samurai?" Rumbles the 8 foot tall warrior, more Roman in his armor style than reflective of the ancient feudal swordsmen of Japan.

"And no, you are not disturbing me, I am simply contemplating the dragon, which was part of the iconography of a Legion, brothers to my own."

Minato's courage is also maxed, so he has no problem nodding and reaching for the extra mic to hand it to Yu.

"It'll be fun."

Man, you're a cool guy, you know that? And just to add to the cool, Yu whips out his Midnight Channel glasses, slipping them on. All right, he's ready man.

"What do you recommend?"

"Luck tonic! Get your luck tonic here! Each comes with a free fortune! Perhaps it'll be a good one! Oh ho ho ho!"

It seems someone else is joining in on the entrepreneurial spirit. There are several bottles of tonic with an envelope tied onto each. They're a bit steep, but they seem to be selling well enough. But do they really bring luck...?

It's not the first time Mahiro's surprised since coming here. Not by a long shot. It is, however, the first time it happens in a pleasant manner.

"...I'm confused. How can a place so dangerous just change moods like this?"

Oboro blinked at his question. Of course! There were so many people here from different places that perhaps they do not have any where this warrior had been.

"O-oh... samurai are very strong swordsmen in the land I come from. They often wear armor into battle so I had thought you were one of them. Please excuse me, I was hasty to assume." She gave him a quick bow in apology. "I do not fully understand what a 'Legion' may be, but if it is much like a clan, then you have chosen a wonderful symbol. Dragons are gods who protect and watch over us. I pray that they may lend you strength..." An unfortunate thought crossed her mind. "Ah, my lord, are you at war?"
