Ahh Autumn. The time for harvest, and the normal national holiday that falls on the 24th and 25th. Demons? Angels? Magic? Well nothing's been put on pause, but even the Anoli need to relax once in a while...

With that free time, what's a newcomer like you to do?

Well Hinoto-Ri has much to offer! As they seem to be the only standing city in...well, anywhere, they've tried to merge and adapt as many festivals around the world as they can.

Ergo this Fall festival is a mixture of everything the world could offer. Corn on the cob, Pumpkins, Yaki Imo (Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes), Ramen stands, Falafel, caramelized apples...

A giant dragon is tied down in the middle of the waters. At night, you can see a few pixies hover close to it, keeping other monsters at bay. The streets have been decorated as well.

But most importantly, the upper Virgo Ward has been turned in a giant festival area...even more so than usual! Now the millions of stalls don't just try to sell things to you, they sell things to you thematically with this fall! Giant pumpkins and fresh produce made in Libra and Capricorn..did you know that Capicorn has an amazing giant apple orchid, protected by the office of Wands and Swords? Try out some free samples! One taste is enough to convince you that having Persona to irrigate the fields ass a crispness to the fruit..right? Winter outfits...hats are in this year! Listen to some of the new music groups, and get pumped for the upcoming movies!

There is giant mooncake in the middle of all the tents and stalls. Don't worry about the money! Everything's free today! It is a time for sharing and family and...

...being thankful for what you have. No matter how small it might be.

For a city of survivors, Hinoto-Ri is certainly trying to have a good time.

I think that's a given, by now...

It was, indeed, and Sissel was bad at not responding to that sort of statement... He sounds a bit amused, though. Telepathic cats were somehow more strange then dead telepathic humans, it seemed. Although maybe he shouldn't take anyone from his universe as an example of sanity...

Humans were really interesting.

Rune leaned a little closer, peering at the kitten, before...

"...that is so cool!"

...she was obviously over it. She also didn't have any issue with picking Sissel up now, looking him over as she held onto him.

"How do you do that? Do you have some kind of device that can translate cat meows or something?"

Oh yis, Sissel was okay with this. It was at least better then he suspected. Have the kitten being cute in your arms, qurl, as the kitten looks up at you.

...Not exactly.

He's not about to let on he's dead. Although Rune might be able to get the vague impression of death, seeing as he's no good at blocking off his thoughts when contacting others.

I mean, I doubt there's any human device for translating cat meows, or making them talk in people's heads, for one...

"Oh, you're talking right in my head?" Rune asked, too busy gushing over all the cute puddled in her arms. Oh man, she's never had the opportunity to cuddle a living animal like this before; most creatures were deformed and violent on her world. Not soft and fuffy and little purr machines.

"Hunh, I didn't realize," she continued, rubbing the kitten's head. "What's your name?"

It seems that way, at least.

He was happy to cuddle up in her arms and purr at the affection. He was a kitten, and he was too used to acting like one - even if he was 18 human years old.

My name's Sissel. What's yours?

"Rune Calstead," she answered, excited. Wow, a kitten that could talk, and was cute and didn't eat people. Plus real plant life and food and buildings and all kinds of party stuff...

This was seriously the best thing that could have happened to her after the week she had last week.

It's nice to meet you, Rune. This is one of the better circumstances I've met people in, I think.

He's glad you're so happy about his existence, at least, Rune.

"Really?" Rune asked. "You don't mind being on a world that's different from your own?"

The kitten purred slightly.

I miss the people back home, but it's interesting here, too. I have the opportunity to watch even more humans then I could back home, and from what I understand is going on, some others from home could show up, as well...

"Hunh... that's true..."

She tilted her head curiously, wondering if Lucas or the others would show up here too... A faint smile came to her face as she shifted back, curling up against the tree with Sissel on her lap. That would be nice... it would be like a paradise for them here, and they could live at least a little more comfortably--

...while their world kept dying. She paused at that, looking a little sad that she even considered it for a moment.

"...we should probably get back to our own worlds eventually, you know," she murmured faintly.

Eventually. Where I was taken from, everything was actually going pretty well. Yourself?

He noticed that sadface. Have the little kitten rubbing up against you, at that - be happy!

Rune fell a little quiet, gently rubbing the talking cat's head. At least she had someone adorable... but she really wanted her friends right now.

"N-not... so well," she answered, flinching as her voice caught. She managed a weak smile, shrugging her shoulders. "My world is... complicated."
