Ahh Autumn. The time for harvest, and the normal national holiday that falls on the 24th and 25th. Demons? Angels? Magic? Well nothing's been put on pause, but even the Anoli need to relax once in a while...

With that free time, what's a newcomer like you to do?

Well Hinoto-Ri has much to offer! As they seem to be the only standing city in...well, anywhere, they've tried to merge and adapt as many festivals around the world as they can.

Ergo this Fall festival is a mixture of everything the world could offer. Corn on the cob, Pumpkins, Yaki Imo (Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes), Ramen stands, Falafel, caramelized apples...

A giant dragon is tied down in the middle of the waters. At night, you can see a few pixies hover close to it, keeping other monsters at bay. The streets have been decorated as well.

But most importantly, the upper Virgo Ward has been turned in a giant festival area...even more so than usual! Now the millions of stalls don't just try to sell things to you, they sell things to you thematically with this fall! Giant pumpkins and fresh produce made in Libra and Capricorn..did you know that Capicorn has an amazing giant apple orchid, protected by the office of Wands and Swords? Try out some free samples! One taste is enough to convince you that having Persona to irrigate the fields ass a crispness to the fruit..right? Winter outfits...hats are in this year! Listen to some of the new music groups, and get pumped for the upcoming movies!

There is giant mooncake in the middle of all the tents and stalls. Don't worry about the money! Everything's free today! It is a time for sharing and family and...

...being thankful for what you have. No matter how small it might be.

For a city of survivors, Hinoto-Ri is certainly trying to have a good time.

[Gabriel had sensed that power and, as he approached the source, he was hit with both curiosity and apprehension. He'd been running from home for so long, it was a little awkward to be seeking out another angel.

But they were both here and, as far as the Archangel could tell, the only ones; it made no sense to avoid one of his brothers...especially since this wasn't one of the ones trying to kill him.

He hoped.

Gabe approaches while Aziraphale is looking at the lanterns, coming to stand beside him.]

If you like the apples, you should try the pie. It's pretty good.

[Aziraphale is a little startled by the man suddenly beside him, but he appears amiable nonetheless, smiling at the stranger.]

Apple pie... [His accent is thickly British.] Isn't that a rather American dessert, to be found in Japan?

[Wait hold on--]

[It took him a moment, as he was caught off guard, but he notices Gabriel's vibe only seconds after his response... his eyes go wide as he stares at Gabriel, unsure of how to feel...

This was definitely an Archangel-- his power was immensely greater than Aziraphale's own. Oh, dear Lord, this really was punishment wasn't it??

The angel is slooowly backing away, turning absolutely pale.]

[Gabe turns his full attention on the other angel, a small smile playing at his lips.]

Hey! Why do you look so terrified?

You'd think I was the boogeyman or something.

[dancingonapin]

[YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE, GABRIEL--

Crowley, where are you when he needs you?! The panicked angel looks away and covers his eyes as he turns to leave.]

Nothing, nothing, I just remembered I-- I have an urgent errand I need to take care of!!

[ontheirside]

[Gabriel steps forward and slings an arm around the other angel's shoulders.]

I'll walk with you. What's the rush? You act like I'm out to get you or something. I promise I'm not.

[dancingonapin]

[His whole body stiffens as he practically freezes where he is with Gabriel's arm around his shoulders--

Aziraphale glances at him slowly, looking about ready to tear out of there at mach speed.]

F-forgive me for being cautious... [He has a lot of reason to be, after all.] Who... who exactly are you, if you don't mind me asking...?

[ontheirside]

Gabriel.

[Gabe takes a bite out of random sweet he'd snagged on his way to investigate the power source but doesn't move his other arm.]

What about you?

[Give him a minute, his brain just shut down. Oh this was bad, this was really, really bad, the Archangel Gabriel was here and had one arm wrapped around him, no doubt as a means to keep him trapped in place so he could rip off his wings or make him Fall or something equally terrible--

If Aziraphale looked pale before, he's gone completely white at this point. Ignoring his question for the time being:]

Wh-what are you doing here?! I... I haven't heard anything from up top in almost a year, I assumed I was on temporary suspension!!

[ontheirside]

[Okay, that earns a very confused look and a raised eyebrow from the Archangel.]

What the hell are you rambling on about?

Look, if you did something to piss off Mike or Raph, I wouldn't know, I haven't talked to them in...well, a really long time.

I'm just trying to say hi.

[dancingonapin]

[Did-- did Gabriel honestly not realize who he was?? What?? His eye is twitching a little in terror...]

You... you really aren't after me, then? [Aziraphale lets out the biggest, most exasperated sigh he can manage, pressing his palm to his forehead. The amount of relief he was feeling was making him dizzy.]

I apologize... I've been dreading a visit from Upstairs for the past year as it is. My friend continually told me that if anyone was out to get me, they likely would have done something by now, but I've never been the optimist when it comes to bureaucracy.

[He's beginning to calm down, though he's remaining cautious.]

My name's Aziraphale.

[ontheirside]

[Trusting the other angel wasn't about to bolt, Gabriel let him go, his hand going to a pocket instead.]

Aziraphale.

[The name was new to him, not something he was used to since he knew most of the younger angels before he'd even left, but he figured there were two options: either he'd forgotten, or this was an angel from a different version of Earth. The latter was a little unsettling; he'd never really decided how he felt about the thought that his life might be different somewhere else.

Still, it felt natural to say even though he was certain it was the first time he'd said it.]

It's nice to meet you. I don't really blame you, bureaucracy's a bitch and, if Micheal suddenly slung his arm around my shoulders...well, it wouldn't be the happiest of family reunions.

But I promise, I don't know what you did to stir the waters, and I really don't care; I'm not out to get you.

[dancingonapin]

[Aziraphale wasn't necessarily younger... was he? He'd been around for a while, since the beginning, but he'd never really done anything noteworthy until the whole big mess involving the apocalypse... it's a little unsettling that Gabriel has so utterly forgotten who he is, though.

He pushes some hair from his face a bit nervously.]

Ahh so... so you don't know who I am, then? I find that... rather surprising, considering the amount of trouble I'd gotten myself into involved the Meta-- [Aziraphale quickly cuts himself off from rambling with the relief he was feeling and coughs nervously; nerves often left him spilling words left and right, unfortunately, which might not be such a good idea here. He's not sure if he should lie, or at the very least hide the truth from Gabriel, considering the load of trouble he could be walking himself into...

Well, if the Archangel didn't care, far be it from Aziraphale to make him care.]

Ahem. What... what exactly are you doing here, then? [He looks over Gabriel a bit curiously.] In that body?

[ontheirside]

[He shoots him a slightly curious look at the cut off but leaves it alone. Yeah, he was a little curious what the angel had done to warrent being so afraid of an Archangel, but, in the end, it didn't matter and he doubted he would be affected by it.

It couldn't have been any worse than Castiel purposefully turning against heaven and Gabe himself running from it, so who cared?]

What's wrong with this body? I've had it for about as long as I've been on Earth.

I got pulled here, same as you, I'd guess. I can't exactly jump back, so I'm just...keeping myself entertained.

[dancingonapin]

[Aziraphale blushes with embarrassment that he almost let slip some... dubious information, and just absently nibbles at his long-forgotten caramel apple.]

Oh there's nothing wrong with your body, it's just that... it appears it isn't your own? [He's not going to ask for exactly how long Gabriel's been on earth.]

I find it extraordinary that they could pull an Archangel across dimensions...

[He shrugs.]

No, it's not. It belonged to a baker but he let me have it. Got to have a vessel to be able to 'walk around.'

[It wasn't like it was a big deal, the guy had said yes and had died a long time ago.

The last comment actually makes him frown. It would be a lie to say he wasn't disturbed by that fact as well.]

Yeah...they've got some real power here. And yet, they need us to settle their little feud. Typical.

[dancingonapin]

A vessel?? [Aziraphale adjusts his glasses, looking terribly concerned and yet curious at the same time.] Really?? Upstairs wouldn't grant you a body to walk around in, then?

[He motions to his own body for emphasis.] I was given this one a long while back... it must have been sometime at the Beginning. Then again, as a principality, it's a bit more necessary for me to walk around on Earth than I suppose it would be for an Archangel...

[Gabriel had mentioned not wanting to see his fellow Archangels, as well, his visit likely wasn't as planned as Aziraphale's was.]

Hmm... As far as I can tell, actually, it doesn't seem to me like they're in control of who they're pulling in... Whatever force it is is certainly a strong one, though, goodness knows who else or what else will end up here.

Grant me a body?

[He peered at the other angel.]

Someone spike your lemonade, kiddo? Since when has Heaven granted anyone bodies? Even the little baby angels gotta have vessels.

[dancingonapin]

[Aziraphale shakes his head slowly...]

As I mentioned, I am a principality, I'm stationed on Earth- Great Britain, to be exact. I've been stationed there for more than nine centuries, and on Earth in general for six thousand. Up There found it necessary to grant me a body. [Hence the cherubic look of it...]

And... I mean no disrespect, but please refrain from calling me 'kiddo.'

[ontheirside]

[He shrugs. You're a kiddo to him.]

That's.....not how they ran things last time I checked.Maybe you're from an alternate dimension.

[As much as thinking about those freaked him out, nothing else made sense. They couldn't grant angels bodies on Earth, that wasn't how it worked.]

Hm... that certainly wouldn't be far-fetched, considering this itself is an alternate dimension. [Still, he didn't like to think about it either...]

Up There forces you to possess humans in order to walk among them, though? How on Earth does anything get done?? [Pun not intentional.]
