For one week, Hinoto-Ri becomes a city where no lies can exist. Who is responsible for this? Will their dedication to ABSOLUTE TRUTHINESS bring them victory...or defeat?

Naoya, for his part, is just going about his normal routine. He can do a lot of his work at home, so that leaves him a lot of spare time to run out and do errands.

Today, someone might find him walking around, carrying a shopping bag - or alternatively milling around, just people-watching.

Desco spends a lot of time wandering around the city during the day for lack of anything better to do. To the chagrin of a whole lot of people, she will often strike up a conversation with anyone sufficiently visually interesting.

Naoya's fashion sense qualifies him as 'visually interesting', which is why he now has a tiny tentacle-festooned demon child hovering next to him, staring curiously.

Desco is not nearly as good at stealth as she might think she is, which is why soon after getting his stalker he turns and stares at her.

"... Hello there. Is there a reason you're following me?"

Desco thinks she is the best at stealth.

She really, really isn't.

"Desco is bored and you look interesting, so she has decided to follow you! Be honored!"

"You have white hair and red eyes and a sharp, feminine beauty, so Desco is giving it even odds that you are either a conflicted hero with a troubled past or an evil mastermind bent on enacting your will on a terrified populace!"

So cheerful as she says this.

... He bursts out laughing at that.

"I wouldn't call myself an evil mastermind, though some people might. But I'm definitely no hero."

[tyrantball]

Desco beams.

"Oh good! Desco has already met her quota of heroes anyway."

The three golden eyes down her torso blink as she says this.

"What are you a mastermind of?"

"Hm. Long and detailed plots? Heh. Or computers. Either works."

He kind of appreciates your honesty, monster girl.

While he's people-watching, he might notice another white-haired young man taking refuge on a bench under the shade of a small tree meant to pretty up the city. A cloth satchel sits beside him and he has a rather large dagger-- almost a short sword-- strapped to his hip. One eye is covered by a patch, the other closed, though he's more resting it than actually sleeping.

He's just feeling the energies of the people around him, trying to learn them. If he recognizes anyone from home, that will just be all the better. Maybe if he finds Calista, Zael will stop fretting.

Hm. Well he looks interesting. He's not nearly as good at sensing power as someone like a demon would be, but he tries reaching out anyway. Perhaps at least he can tell what kind of power it is.

There's power there, surprisingly immense but most of it sealed away. It's power that has nothing to do with Personas, but it's still innate to the one-eyed mage.

What Naoya feels is fire. Scorching, raging inferno that would lick at the highest rooftops and set the sky aflame if unleashed, and yet Yurick holds no knowledge of just how powerful it is.

He raises an eyebrow - he feels a bit similar to Belial. Curiously, he approaches Yurick. His own energy is hateful and bitter, a tightly coiled ball of misery wrapped around a human soul.

That strangling bitterness approaching jolts Yurick out of his slight trance, his one pale blue-gray eye fixing instantly on Naoya. He sits up straight, watching the stranger, wary but not hostile. His energy quiets a little, as if the seals on it are stronger when he's fully conscious, but now it also has focus to it. It's ready to be called forth if he has need to protect himself.

He grins a bit at the boy.

"Tired, are you?"

[mementodagger]

"Of being stuck here, yes." His voice is quiet but a little sharp with annoyance, his accent strongly reminiscent of old London but with a strange inflection. "Aren't you?"

[meaningdies]

His own accent is fairly neutral, but with a hint of Japanese. "I am... though I've no better things to do at home right now, the situation being what it is."

[Fumi's between jobs right now too, so it's time to bother Naoya while he's wandering around town.]

Bored? I certainly am.

[He looks over and nods.]

As usual. It's just a pain to try to amuse yourself when you've seen everything at least a thousand times before.

At least, hm? I wasn't aware you were such a mover and shaker.

I can be. I'm also much older than I look.
