It was obviously a dangerous mission, and hidden away by the cover of the reddish tint of the 13th hour. With most of the city still focused on what had happened during the tournament and the Anoli, there was little question to the disappearing Seven and Wisemen...or if they had noticed at all.

But eventually that would readily turn into questions, and the panic and confusion that could ensue might be dangerous. Thus it was time for a little trip into the temple that once yielded no answers and see what exactly had happened...and hopefully able to stage a rescue attempt. But what did the Mictlan have for them in store, and would they be able to get in at all? It was hard to judge.

As the Visitors arrived, they were ushered into the front doors of the temple in the center of the ghost town. Most of the demons were being kept at bay, in a bid to better keep their strengths and powers.

For who knew what they might need in there...the video had cut off so many times, after all.

Minako is Not Pleased with Kandori right now. But she can't let Mr. Takeba and the others stay in there unrescued, and neither can she stand back and allow others to risk themselves with no plan of action.

For those two reasons, Minako steps to the front of the group. She stands straight, holding her naginata somewhat like an explorer planting a flag on a foreign shore to claim it.

"I hope we're all genre savvy enough to know we can't go in there without a strategy." And as one of the only Japanese schoolgirls here, she's definitely savvy. "Who here is a support Persona user, and how confident are you with it? Who has long-range equipment or Persona skills? And finally... if someone does get grabbed, we need someone able to rescue them, fast."

Guybrush raises his hand. "Believe it or not, the big fryer over here's a support. He's embarrassing, but... well, he's actually pretty useful. Still feels like I got a little bit to go with him, but eh."

El Pollo Diablo bukowks solemnly.

That is a fairly large and impressive chicken, Guybrush.

"What scanning abilities does he have?" She's not doubting his wattle... mettle... but it's important to know what information they can depend on.

"Well, it can tell where the shiny things are and it can tell where the stabby things are. That help any?" he asks hopefully.

"I'm Astartes. We always have a plan."

Normally the plan is to kill everything. It generally works wonders when you are a posthuman warmachine.

"As for long range, this bolter can kill anything I can see." He brandishes a weapon that looks like a submachinegun in his hands, but would be an anti-tank weapon for anyone else.

That... is impressive. Although she's hoping for a bit more to the plan than 'kill things.' That was already implied. "I was thinking we could have part of the group give covering fire while the rest approach the door. What do you think?"

Because, you know. She may know how to fight Shadows, but she's not a space marine.

"I can task some of those with me to undertake that. I prefer assault for myself, but I think that would work well with Ferrus and the blue Xeno-breed."

He indicates Kais and Gasmask-kun with a wave of his hand, once they show up. (Which they probably will).

"I have some long range Persona spells and also healing, for any who get hurt," Minato pipes up. He knows Minako already knows what he can and can't do, but it doesn't hurt to let the others know.

He's hardly pleased with Kandori, either, but in addition to the reasons Minako is here (they are the same for him), he's not about to let her go alone.

Shinjiro's just here to... mostly put holes through whatever eldritch monstrosity they come across. His role is, and has always been, clear-cut and defined, so when Minako takes charge—as he had expected her to, frankly, because she can never keep her nose out of these kinds of things; it's like expecting a fire not to attack would—Shinjiro just does what he usually does and hangs back, listening to what's being said.

"Not going to take the reins, huh?"

Minato blinks at that question and looks sidelong at Shinjiro for a moment before shrugging.

"She already has them in hand." Why try and take that away? Besides, her more forceful personality better suits her to taking charge than his own.

"I trust you to know when to use them." This is her way of saying she's not going to try and micromanage his attacks too much. He was a leader, too... He has good enough sense to decide when to attack and how.

"You're holding up okay?" She knows he should be healed, but it's still not that long since the attack. Broken bones healing so quickly is still a new concept.

He nods. "Don't worry about me. I've got your back."

Which should go without saying, but what he really means is he will absolutely follow her lead here, though he's grateful she's not going to try and micromanage him. Because really, he does know what he's doing.

"Kazuya and I are demon summoners."

Atsuro glances towards his friend as he responds to Minako's query.

"Er. Not that they're cannon fodder or anything, but we've got demons who can teleport around - if anyone gets snagged, they can warp in and warp out with the victim. ...Ideally. And I mean... if it really comes down to it, they don't die, they just kind of... go back inside our COMPs."

Yeah they were cannon fodder.

You are a good bro, Atsuro. It's kind of a pity you aren't Magician arcana.

"That's great! Really, the last things we need are any more hostages." She's not really sure if the four missing people are hostages, per say, but it's better than calling them snacks.

"...Yeah. I just hope 'hostage' is what they're going for here."

There wasn't anything to be gained from being pessimistic, but he wouldn't be surprised if the four of them were being hooked up to some sort of diabolical demon soul-extraction machine or something along those lines, either.

"Whatever's down there, it's definitely expecting reinforcements. It's the only reason it would show us that video... But I think we have enough firepower here to catch it off guard."

Brainstorm, he expects, had been crippled from fighting effectively by his size, and he had never seen the others display any especially powerful techniques. The people here seemed to have an eclectic array of abilities that might see them through...

Palutena speaks up from near the back of the group.

"I'm fairly new to persona usage in general, but mine does qualify as 'support.' And I have other abilities that I generally consider useful."

Actually, her other abilities are more useful than her persona at this point.

"Palutena."

The familiar voice echoes only for the goddess.

"What?!?"

There are so many things she could add after the 'what' that she didn't feel the need to expand.

She doesn't. Palutena knows exactly what she means by that. It really isn't the place of any goddess to be planning to enter a dungeon crawl. But sources of information are limited. And her usual means of acquiring said information are no longer open to her. So she has to get more directly involved. Also because her mun is dumb and didn't think to request Palutena's sanctum when she apped. So she can't really do things the usual way. Plus these people need all the help they can get.

"Hello, Viridi. Was there something you needed?"

No offense to Guybrush... but she really hopes Palutena's abilities are more useful than the chicken's.

"What kind of abilities do you have? I'm hoping that someone is able to scan enemies for strengths and weaknesses, and keep us in contact with each other." If Fuuka were here this wouldn't be a problem, but sadly she's not.

Ruri looked over at the other girl and shook her head a bit, testing the baton at her hip and raising her hand slightly.

"My persona is good at gathering information, and I myself am fairly skilled at data analysis. Though I'm more comfortable using my computer over a persona as magic still seems a bit... Wrong."

"Are you able to scan for enemy strengths or weaknesses? We still don't have anyone who says they can."

She's handled enemies without that ability before, of course, but it's much more comforting to know someone is in the back making sure you won't bounce a fireball right back into your face.

Mitsuru can't help but smile a little as Minako took charge. Truthfully, she was expecting Minato to do it or someone else to ask her to organize everything. But Minako seemed perfectly okay with this role, and the older girl wasn't about to step up and object if she wants to hone in on her leadership skills.

Especially in such a dire situation like this. Mitsuru is a little thankful that Yukari's not here; the other girl would probably be sick with stress, and be in no condition for a rescue mission.

"I no longer have Penthesilea's support abilities, but I can stay behind if necessary. It would be wise to have someone guarding the entrance." With her previous latent scanning powers now essentially unusable here, staying behind would be a little pointless (she misses being able to use that part of her power), but she's fine with this role.

It may be a surprise for those from Minato's timeline, but between the twins themselves it was never really in doubt who'd be in charge. Minako knows she has her brother's support for her decisions, and he can trust her to try and arrange something workable between a group of strangers.

Minako sighs at Mitsuru's admission. "It's okay, Senpai. Though, I really miss Fuuka right now... None of the people I've talked to have the right abilities to replace her." And although she's glad to have the three she's found, it would be much easier to rely on just her one, dependable friend.

"So far, there's a group with heavy weapons to give us covering fire and some others say they can rescue anyone who's being dragged away. I'm not sure about staying at the entrance, but it'd be good to have at least one person able to go get help if things go really bad."

Watching the video had only given him the strong urge to see what was going on... something like that was fascinating, an almost magnetic draw.

Thus, he'd sneaked out to join in. He was keeping quiet, trying not to draw attention to himself, but watching everyone there. It was better to let them go ahead... to draw attention of whatever was there and to fight.

"Mine is support as well... healing and boosting, it seems."

"Great! We can always use more healers." She's always made sure she has at least one Persona with healing spells herself for that very reason. "Were you planning on just supporting, or fighting on the front lines?"

He may have a support Persona, but he still doesn't look like the type who hangs out in the back rank.
