Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

[This room is fairly quiet, except for nights when the occupant's partner comes over for drinks. Feel free to complain about it, or maybe you'd like to drop by for a chat?

Either way, you'll likely find Barnaby: tinkering with the suit that occupies a good portion of the room, doing some research on his COMP, or occasionally cooking a dish. (Say, does anyone smell fried rice?)

If you're (un)lucky, you might even show up while that obnoxious friend of his is hanging around. Just make sure to knock first.]

[She hadn't meant to peek in, really! Miki had been distracted by what she was reading (a book about mechanical repair) and had idly wandered into the wrong level and room. You know that one time when the book is so good you have trouble putting it down despite the fact you know better?

Lucky you.

Didn't even check the number on the door either, she just pushed it in. Which...didn't work. So now they probably heard the sound of something banging on the door loudly, and a "Oww".]

[There's some shuffling on the other side of the door before Barnaby opens it. Behind him comes the sound of something sizzling in a pan. The person cooking is currently hidden from Miki's line of sight, but whoever it is, he's humming a tuneless song while he works.

Barnaby peers at her with an even expression.]

Can I help you?

[Oh uh. This is clearly not her room.]

I apologize. I was busy reading my book...[She kneels down to pick it up and shows it to him 'Illustrated Sourcebook of Mechanical Components. It's a lot of math stuff.] ...and didn't realize I was [She looks over to the wall and sees the number] two whole levels down my own.

[And the wrong door too, but he doesn't need to know that.]

[Too bad she had to hit her head on the door to figure that one out.]

I see. Well, try to be more careful next time. From my experience, reading while standing in one place is a good way to avoid that.

[His placid smile doesn't betray his thoughts, but he thinks someone has to be seriously absent-minded to wind up two levels below where they were supposed to go. The book she's engrossed in does show she has some interest in more intellectual pursuits, though, so he doesn't judge her as harshly as he could have. At worst, she's someone who can't tell up from down. At best, she might be the absent-minded professor type.

Either way, it doesn't particularly matter to Barnaby. He commits her name to memory anyway, though, for future reference. At the very least, it could be useful to know who else is in his assigned building.]

[That unseen person didn't stay hiden for much longer. Backpedaling out of their squat kitchen, Kotetsu's curious head comes into view. When he sees the face to the strange strange voice, he smiles.]
