Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

[Lizzie is decidedly one of those people who has...well, no concept of gaming at all, so she's just going to knock again. Maybe a little bit more loudly than before.]

[...Shortly after, a melancholic melody in a minor key plays, accompanied by a cry of dismay.

All goes silent.

Lizzie's knock comes just as the sound begins to fade. After a few moments, an equally melancholic-looking boy pops his head out.]

Huh...? Oh, hey! Sorry; have you been standing there long?

No, not at all. I heard you just now, though. Are you alright?

[Atsuro heaves a slight sigh. Having to sit through another half hour of cutscenes to fight the final boss again was a truly depressing fate.]

Ah, I'm fine! Why do you ask?

[Hey best friend why are you living in a totally different apartment block? Don't you know it takes a lot of effort to teleport here? And he didn't mean using those building teleporters either!

Nope, Kazuya can use his special awesome King of Bel powers to teleport to wherever he wanted - however since coming to this world they've been a bit...temperamental, and teleporting with them ends up being a game of Russian Roulette of embarrassment.

Of course, Kazuya thinks the best way to fix the problem is to just keep using them until he fixes them - somehow - so please ignore how Kazuya appears in your room in a burst of energy and immediately smacks right into the wall.

[A pillow flies at Kazuya's head a half-second after he materializes. It's softer than the wall, at least. ...Atsuro blinks in dumbfounded surprise for a few moments before suddenly thrusting out a pointer finger.]

..............Smite Evil! That's 10,000,000 EXP for the slaying of the demon king and five levels for Atsuro Kihara!

Atsuro is trying to learn the skill 'Way Creepy Instant Teleportation Into Your Friends' Bedrooms When They Might Be Naked In the Shower!' ...But Atsuro lacks the Awesome Cape accessory necessary to use the skill. ...Too bad.

[Kazuya turned to give his friend a scowl, rubbing his forehead where he'd headbutted the wall at what felt like mach speed. Indeed, when he lowered his hand, there was a great red mark on his forehead - although it was rapidly fading when his demonic healing kicked in]

Sorry, what? I can't hear you over the sound of my EXP meter racking up the points.

[Atsuro, true to his words, was totally naked having just come out of the shower. ...OK no not really he was sprawled on his bed fiddling with his laptop which is where Kazuya can probably expect to find him 90% of the time. He rolls off his bed and thumps on the floor.]

No, seriously, why're you using Phantasma to sneak into my room?

[Kazuya crosses his arms, his eyes narrowed into a little glower before he eased off with a small sigh. He shouldn't snap at Atsuro, but this whole powers on the fritz thing was frustrating...]

...it isn't working properly so I'm trying to fix it. Somehow.

You mean you didn't mean to fall into a wall?

[Atsuro helpfully questions as he draws closer.]

How's it not working right? I don't remember ever having much trouble, but we weren't trying to teleport around inside buildings much. Maybe you're not correcting for the actual depth of the walls.

[One of those trips through the teleporter brings her, not into the pool, but a few floors lower than where she's intending to go.

While she's walking to the elevator she stops at the sound of music from a nearby door. Wasn't that something that Junpei used to play?]

[It very well could be, although uninformed critics of the fine arts may ignorantly note that many game ditties sound quite similar. Atsuro would be happy to enlighten them as to the subtleties between Victory Tune Overworld and Victory Tune Overworld 2.]

[Minako doesn't play enough RPGs to know one tune from another, unfortunately, although she's sure they are very different!

But either way, now she notices the nameplate on the door and realizes she recognizes it. So she knocks! Visiting an acquaintance out of the blue isn't too strange, right? And he had invited people to look at his demon compendium in his last network entry, anyway.]

[Luckily, she catches him in the middle of a softer section of the music. Atsuro glances towards the door and hesitates for a moment or two before putting the game on pause. He slowly makes his way towards the door, straining to hear for a second knock.]

...Hey. Someone there?

[And it swings open.]

Hi, Atsuro-kun! I heard your music in the hall...

Oh, hey! ...Minako, right?

Sorry about that, is it getting too loud? I can turn it down.

Atsuro jumps a bit wondering if his character had just been killed. Then he realizes the smashing sound had been in real life. He turns the volume down.]

Oh. Cool; I'm just gonna go ahead and keep playing, then.

[Atsuro recognizes the voice, of course, and true to his word, turns the television back on. ...The volume seems even higher than it was before.]
