You can find the master list of apartments [RIGHT HERE!]

Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

[A pillow flies at Kazuya's head a half-second after he materializes. It's softer than the wall, at least. ...Atsuro blinks in dumbfounded surprise for a few moments before suddenly thrusting out a pointer finger.]

..............Smite Evil! That's 10,000,000 EXP for the slaying of the demon king and five levels for Atsuro Kihara!

[A sense of humor was key.]

Atsuro is trying to learn the skill 'Way Creepy Instant Teleportation Into Your Friends' Bedrooms When They Might Be Naked In the Shower!' ...But Atsuro lacks the Awesome Cape accessory necessary to use the skill. ...Too bad.

[Kazuya turned to give his friend a scowl, rubbing his forehead where he'd headbutted the wall at what felt like mach speed. Indeed, when he lowered his hand, there was a great red mark on his forehead - although it was rapidly fading when his demonic healing kicked in]

What slaying? The wall did half of the work for you, idiot.

[Although it was unseemly for the King of Bel to pout...yeah, he was pouting]

Sorry, what? I can't hear you over the sound of my EXP meter racking up the points.

[Atsuro, true to his words, was totally naked having just come out of the shower. ...OK no not really he was sprawled on his bed fiddling with his laptop which is where Kazuya can probably expect to find him 90% of the time. He rolls off his bed and thumps on the floor.]

No, seriously, why're you using Phantasma to sneak into my room?

[belfire]

I wasn't sneaking!

[Kazuya crosses his arms, his eyes narrowed into a little glower before he eased off with a small sigh. He shouldn't snap at Atsuro, but this whole powers on the fritz thing was frustrating...]

...it isn't working properly so I'm trying to fix it. Somehow.

[otakuro]

You mean you didn't mean to fall into a wall?

[Atsuro helpfully questions as he draws closer.]

How's it not working right? I don't remember ever having much trouble, but we weren't trying to teleport around inside buildings much. Maybe you're not correcting for the actual depth of the walls.

[belfire]

[Kazuya growls a little - he had teleported plenty of times within buildings and he never had this problem before. This entire place was just throwing his powers into a frenzy. He couldn't even use magic by himself anymore, and had to rely on his very old, nearly forgotten COMP instead to use them]

All of my powers have been wonky since coming here. It's - not right.

[Kazuya tugs at his hair in agitation before swiping at the air, as if pushing the issue aside]

Maybe I should ask Naoya about it.

[otakuro]

[...Since when had Kazuya had any powers? Atsuro's eyes flicker back and forth in confusion for a moment before he decides to assume the obvious for now.]

Actually...

[A pause. Atsuro could be intellectual when he needed to be.]

It makes sense. If you've got powers derived from being a demon king, they shouldn't be working here. This world is only connected to ours - yours - because you're here, and you've got that 'Destiny String' thing they never bothered to explain. If your powers come from... Yomi or hell or somewhere, we're pretty darn far away. If your powers come from demons, then you don't have any subjects here.

My demons recognize you as their lord, but our worlds are probably parallel enough that things sort of overlap.

[belfire]

[There was a pause as Kazuya considered this. That...made a lot of sense, actually. He wasn't sure if distance could really mess up his powers that badly, but it was a chilling thought. What if God decided to leap from different worlds to escape him, and if Kazuya followed, grew weaker and weaker?]

That's not good...

[Kazuya heaved a great sigh, slumping forwards slightly with a decidedly unhappy expression]

Man, I thought this would be a fun little vacation, but it's turning into a pain instead.

[otakuro]

A vacation's a vacation.

[Atsuro shrugs as he sits back on his bed. Despite the fact that Naoya and Kazuya's worlds technically had no bearing on the outcome of his, the fact that they were alive and kicking meant he didn't worry so much about the final battle nowadays. ...Besides, they were probably fated to win, Abel being Abel and all.]

Come on, you've only been king for... what, four weeks now? Take some time off and play some games.

[belfire]

[Kazuya gave the bed a wistful look]

...yeah. That sounds like heaven right now. Budge up, lemme sit down.

[otakuro]

Whoa whoa whoa. No way, forget it.

[Atsuro looks suitably facetiously shocked.]

You'd start melting or something up there. We'd better just keep watching you teleport around some more.

[belfire]

You mean keep watching me make an ass of myself. Hahah, yeah. Right.

[Kazuya smirks, and a mischievous gleam sparks in his red eyes. Uh oh, he's up to something - especially when he takes a step closer to the bed, gaze intent on Atsuro]

[otakuro]

"Nah, I mean, uh. Help you keep practicing! That's what... friends are for. Uh-huh."

Atsuro's eyes dart back and forth as he leans back ever so slightly. ...He wasn't scared of Kazuya. Demon King or not, the dork was his best friend. (OK, OK, maybe he was the dork in this relationship). But he was starting to get distinct vibes reminiscent of a scene from Dracula or something along those lines.

[belfire]

It sort of was like a scene was Dracula. Kazuya prowled towards, his movements predatory, trying to suppress his grin and failing miserably. He could smell nervousness from his friend, but not fear - which actually made him a bit happy. He was a bit sick and tired of humans being afraid of him, and he never wanted Atsuro to be scared of him, even if he acted a bit jerkish towards him.

With that thought, Kazuya pounced upon Atsuro, very much like how a cat would lunge at a mouse.

[otakuro]

"Wha -- ?!"

Well that wasn't what he'd been expecting. Apparently Demon Kings didn't concern themselves terribly with personal space; Atsuro only has time to fall back onto his bed and kick upwards before Kazuya was on top of him. ...Not that that was especially helpfully, given that was ostensibly the point of the pounce in the first place.

"Uh.

"..........................I'm saving myself for marriage, just to let you know in advance."

[belfire]

Kazuya burst into laughter at that, roughly grinding his knuckles against Atsuro's head and giving him a noogie through his hat.

"No offence Atsuro, but you're not my type," he chuckled, rolling off of his friend and stretching out lazily on the bed, kicking his feet up before letting them lower to hang off the edge of the bed. He got a bit tangled up in his cape and headphone cords, but he couldn't bring himself to care.

[otakuro]

Atsuro huffily readjusts his hat to the proper position (power symbol on the left) before sitting up again, tugging idly at the cords wrapped around his friend's ridiculously cool cape.

"What was that about? You can have all the hugs you want, but you've gotta ask nicely, OK?"

[belfire]

"I didn't want a hug. I just thought it'd be fun to jump you."

Kazuya shifted when Atsuro tugged at the cord, but didn't move to swat him away or assist him, his red eyes intent on his friend's hands. He was telling the truth - there had been a massive impulse to jump on him in the same way a dog would pounce on its friend to initiate play.

Maybe he should try to separate himself from his new demonic instincts more. It was all well and good if it was harmless shit like pouncing, but he didn't want to accidentally slip and do something bad if he got emotionally wound up enough. Like...eating Atsuro.

Nah, maybe nothing that bad, but still...

[otakuro]

"Yeah, well." Atsuro's hands lightly dance up Kazuya's side. "Maybe I'll think it's fun to tickle you, huh?" He pokes the other boy slightly with a chuckle, unraveling the cord entirely as he pulls his hands away.

"OK! Games! What're you in the mood for?"

[belfire]

Kazuya squirmed at the little poke, grunting in mild annoyance, but rolled onto his stomach when his friend untangled him from his own headphone cord. Games...what was he in the mood for?

"Got any brawling games?"

[otakuro]

"...We spend all our time fighting and you want to spend your free time pretend fighting?" Atsuro shakes his head in mock disappointment. "A true Demon King through and through... Hah, not like it will do you much good against my wavedashing!"

Ultra Bash Brothers Fracas was always good to kill a few hours. Atsuro slides off the bed and begins to fiddle around with the cords. It was hard keeping things organized when you had five or six consoles to juggle around.

[belfire]

Kazuya slowly stretched when Atsuro hopped off of the bed, looking like some sort of cat as he sank his fingers into the mattress with his back arching until he heard something in his spine pop. Ah, that was better.

He straightened up then, nudging his headphones to rest around his neck as he ruffled his hair. "You haven't even been here for two months and you already have like a billion consoles."

[otakuro]

"Hey, most of these came with me from home." Atsuro protests, as if this clarification lessened his geek points any. "Those two are old consoles I kept in a closet somewhere; I'm surprised they thought I was attached enough to bring 'em along."

Given that he's on his fourteenth playthrough of his favorite SNIS game, this is not really a surprise at all. He finishes fiddling with the wires and scoots back a few feet, waiting for the machine to warm up.

"Aaaand... here we go! Here, pick a character!"

Toss goes the controller. He figures a Demon King ought to have enough dexterity to be able to catch it.

[belfire]

Of course he had enough dexterity to - he was the King of Bel. He had enough of everything!

He caught the controller deftly, shuffling over to the very edge of the bed. He was hit by a sudden wave of nostalgia then. Sitting here playing video games with Atsuro, like nothing had ever happened...he never thought he could do this ever again after claiming the title of King of Bel.

He turned the controller over in his hands, frowning a little before shrugging the feeling off. No point getting broody over it.

"This is a blast from the past," Kazuya teased, pushing the control stick and letting his selection cursor zip all over the screen before randomly pressing the 'A' button. He selected a busty female fighter of course. "Retro Gamer to the max."

"Sheesh, this only came out seven years ago." Atsuro tries to ignore the fact that this means he barely had enough dexterity to hold a controller when it had first hit the stores. Now wasn't the time to feel old. "The newest installment has pretty much the worst physics ever. Everything's all... floaty and weird."

With this uninterpretable commentary, Atsuro toggles his selection over to the ninja. The equally busty female kunoichi, of course.
