▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get lucky.

▼ Ode of the Newcomer

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[(Make sure you read it!) This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts (we're testing it out to see this works well or not.)

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

[She perks up a little, resting her hands on top of his gently. Miyabi really wanted to cook for him one day, but... that could wait. She was admittedly pretty damn exhausted, and having her boyfriend (wow it was still weird adjusting to thinking of Eikichi like that, all things considered) cook for her sounded amazing.]

Babe, babe, why would I lie to you? If Eikichi Mishina promises something, he's going to do it! Pronto!

[Pause.]

...as soon as I get proper ingredients. Fortunately, I've got a well stocked in the fridge in my apartment.

A chance for me to take you to my crib--I mean apartment? Heheh, it isn't even a question of if, but when!

[He looks around, grinning.]

I wasn't sure if you wanted to look around your place before we go.

I wouldn't mind changing before we go, now that you mention it. Do you mind waiting a moment for me?

Babe? Take all the time you need.

[He'd wait an eternity for you.]

[She smiles at him before sliding out of her seat, hoisting one of the boxes of clothes off of the floor and dragging it off into the bathroom with her.

...It's around five minutes or more before she reemerges, outfit almost completely unchanged. The only additions are an over-sized jacket plus tights instead of shorter socks, and she looks slightly confused and uncomfortable. Miyabi tries to pull a smile back onto her face once she sees Eikichi, but there's still a bit of a tentative edge to it.]

Uhm. We can go now.

[It seems someone forgot that her whole wardrobe was tailored for a completely different person. After all, it's only been less than a day since she made the wish with Joker.]

[Well that was pretty fast!

...come on he spends nearly an hour himself to get prepared for the day. Although it's been quicker now that he doesn't have to take his hair coloring off or put it on in a dodgy place, he had basically set himself up to wait thirty minutes or more...

He frowns in confusion at first, looking confused from her sudden switch in emotions, but isn't going to ask her questions. Thankfully, the coat does clue him in quickly enough, and he realizes that any clothing she might have had would be tailor-fit for before she got her wish granted.

He'd like her no matter how she looked, but now he realized they'd need to go shopping tomorrow. But right now? His babe needs a little bit of pick-me-up, and if there's one thing Eikichi is good at, it's motivation. Without another word, he takes her in his arms and dips her down to plant a small kiss on her forehead, grinning. He can bury the butterflies swimming in his stomach from such a bold move for later.]

Babe, babe. You you make me jealous! Miyabi au naturelle is so pretty she needs nothing else, but then she strikes with her radiating kind-heart for a double attack to Michel's own! [He pulls himself into what is an obvious fake sigh.] Tsk tsk tsk. What can he do?

[Well pull her down and then extend his hand so she can take his.]

What about a little outing tomorrow? Just you and me. You have a fridge to fill, some outfits to fit the still-cold weather, and I have a hole burning in my pocket! Hmmmm...but with so many places to shop here, I don't know if we'll have enough time to go everywhere! Maybe we could go to Mays or Junes...

[His grin grows wider.]

[She's startled at first, expression turning confused and flustered as she's suddenly dipped down. A blush begins to cross over her cheeks as he plants the kiss on her forehead, and a smile begins to grow across her face as he spoke. He...

His aim was to to cheer her up, and he was most certainly accomplishing that point. How could one boy be so positively filled with understanding and kindness? It made her heart fill to the brim with warmth, a sort of wonderful feeling she hadn't really felt from anyone else before. She had barely even had time to fully understand the horrible feeling bubbling up inside of her over the situation before Eikichi stepped in, somehow managing to figure out what she was feeling and how to fix it without her even having to say anything.

How did she manage to get such an amazing boyfriend?

Staying quiet for the moment, Miyabi takes his offered hand, entwining their fingers gently and bobbing her head a little as he spoke. Once he was finished she moves forward, embracing him tightly before pulling back to look him in the eyes.]

Thank you.

[Her voice is a only slightly more than a murmur, expression soft as she looks up at him. Miyabi rises onto her tip toes and plants a soft kiss on Eikichi's cheek, gently pressing the tip of her nose against his before falling back onto the flats of her feet. She could get used to this sort of thing, she really, really could.]

[He laughs quietly when she kisses him and turns a shade of his own...let's be honest, Eikichi wasn't the type that got a lot of physical contact with anyone this close, let alone with a girl and he'd fallen in love with Miyabi as a kid so basically his mind was in the 7th level of heaven.]

Haha...uh...y-you're welcome.

[After that speech, it was a little too easy to slip back into that older, confused, shy Eikichi. But if anything, he was the perfect person to understand Miyabi's current predicament, even if his own change hadn't been instantaneous. Besides, they were Scorpios, they were good at DEALING WITH IT. He's put on his shoes by now and waits for her to do the same as they leave the apartment and he takes her to the 4th level, to the teleportation station.]

Now we have to go one at a time, but this will take us to my building half a city away! There is a 1/1000th chance of you ending up teleporting on top of the swimming pool, but don't worry! I'll go first and be ready to catch you with Hades if you do!

[So romantic. He lets himself go from her hand, and waves at her, before disappearing in a shower of what looks like digital info that fizzles out. A few second later, she gets a text on her new phone.]

READY BABE! ♥♪

[She holds onto his hand until they reach the teleporter, letting his fingers slip out from between hers as she quirks up one eyebrow at his words. It was still a shell shock to have such technology available everywhere, and it admittedly made her rather nervous-- being told there's a chance things could go wrong certainly didn't help much on that regard. Ah well, she trusted Eikichi at his word, and there were certainly worse things to happen in life than to fall into a pool.]

See you on the other side.

[Miyabi takes a deep breath once she gets the text, staring at the teleporter for a moment before she tentatively steps inside. Welp, here goes nothing...]

[And she teleports right into...

...the other teleporter!]

See? Nothing to be worried about.

[In the swimming room, Hades disappears when Eikichi calls him back. He takes Miyabi's hand again, as his brain is suddenly realizing 'I am going to show her my apartment, I never had her in my house even as a kid' and he quickly tries to remember how clean it was before he went on his errands out a few hours ago and ended up with a modern retelling of Sleeping Beauty in Hinoto-Ri...it seemed like forever ago now. As he calls down the elevator, desperately, mentally makes sure he didn't leave anything on the floor that day. Before he can think too much about it, they are already at his door as he then fumbles with his keycard.

He's just....nervous a little, okay? Even if he shouldn't be; Eikichi takes really good care of his apartment. He takes impeccable care of his appearance, and that's reflected on how his ~~crib~~ home looks as well. When he does manage to get the door open, it looks just as clean as when he first arrived in the city. Bowls of fruit on top of the small table, groceries arranged neatly ins stacks along with his sketchbooks. The door to his personal room is closed...which is probably for the best. He might have had a sock on the floor in there! Still, when he glances over at Miyabi, offering a small smile, he looks ready to sweat bullets. ]

[Miyabi smiles back at him as reassuringly as possible; after all, what did he have to worry about? Not only would she never ever judge him, his apartment was the most sparkling clean place she'd ever been invited to owned by another person her age, it was actually quite impressive. Her eyes light up a little when she sees the stacks of sketchbooks, and she glances between them and Eikichi.]

You're still drawing?

[She'd kept all the drawings he'd made her while they were children-- Miyabi kind of hoped that they'd made the trip here with her, though Eikichi probably would get embarrassed seeing things he'd drawn in elementary school if he was anything like other artists. Ah well, she'd hang them up in her bedroom where he wouldn't see them.]

I never stopped! With Ma being an artist, it was hard not too...

[Caught between an overbearing father who demanded he follow in his footsteps, a strangely accepting mother, and in a school of delinquents, Eikcihi's life had been pretty interesting...now it was just on overdrive, really.

He definitely wasn't complaining about the new twist. Already over to the kitchen area, he takes out a really large bowl from the fridge filled to the brim with green pods.]

How about some edamame while I make something more consistant?

After dinner, would you mind showing me some of your new pieces? It's been years since I've gotten to see any of them properly.

[She follows a few steps after him, holding out her hands as an offer to take the bowl out of his.]
