▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get lucky.

▼ Ode of the Newcomer

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[(Make sure you read it!) This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts (we're testing it out to see this works well or not.)

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

Honestly, he'd trust her better than half the Team. ...okay, 3/4ths of the team.

"Your...inn is here?"

He couldn't ? any harder than he did at that option. Maybe he got dragged here by something, maybe it dragged his friends here too, but...buildings? "This is starting to sound like something out of a comic book."

...should she be honored by that or insulted?

"It's strange to figure out but sometimes places from home do show up. Junes and Dojima-san's house were a couple of places along with the inn that came here."

She stood up and extended her hand out to him. "Come on, I doubt you'd rather stay on that bench all night."

Hey, that puts her in the same 'trust' tier as Yosuke and Naoto- that's a damn honor.

"-my uncle's house?" He took the hand gladly, waivering as he stood up and resting a hand on his hip. He of course agreed, but yeah the mention of Dojima- and...Junes.

Oh shit, he really needed to find Yosuke.

"Who else is here?"

Good thing no one mentioned it; she might just say that she doesn't deserve that kind of honor. She's still strangely humble when it comes to that.

"Almost everyone. Chie, Rise-chan, Naoto-kun, Yosuke-kun, Kanji-kun, Nanako-chan..."

She left one name hanging, not wanting to say it and to someone who just arrived. How much was different between his time and hers? Is Adachi the same in his?

"Yosuke's here?!"

Okay, the fact that that pinged him so hard might give away the differences in time. Souji whirled around to face Yukiko proper, looking the slightest bit worried.

"Is he okay? Like, really okay, not that faking it crap."

She was about to respond that he's been here longer than her but had to remind herself that he was new. Therefore, he couldn't be referring to the Yosuke she knows...unless Yu never told them about a twin brother. But it isn't like she can say 'I haven't seen your world's Yosuke yet' because he may not believe in the whole new world bit.

Even if they go through TVs to get to another.

"Well...this is a little hard to ask but...what happened before you got here?"

That wasn't a response he'd been expecting. Some of the worry drained from Souji's face, and his shoulders abruptly relaxed as he tried to figure out how to even address that question.

If she had to ask, then she didn't know. But how could she not? If she had somehow avoided all that drama, was it right to drag Yukiko in to it now?

...no, it couldn't be. He wouldn't forgive himself if he ruined anyone else's life.

"Yosuke and I were stuck in the TV." Obviously he's being cagey about it, and he expects her to call him out on it, but...the way he's blinking so rapidly...

That...doesn't say much. That could be the very beginning of what happened back home. And honestly, even if no one wanted her to be 'dragged in', she'd throw herself in the mess because there's no way in Hell Yukiko would let a friend suffer. That attack with the Anoli already gave her that unsettled feeling, still believing that she could've done something to help.

There's something about his face...even from another world, their leader isn't someone who would lie to them.

"I'm...not sure about that one. What was the date?"

Yukiko was being smart for once. Perhaps it's due to being around Naoto or just being more aware of her surroundings. But once she can get that out of Souji, maybe she could figure out what's going on.

"November."

Souji paused, seeming to squirm internally for a moment, before looking away completely. "November 5th?"

If he seemed like he was avoiding the question before, he was outright skiddish at that point. "I don't remember what date it was exactly, but it started around there..."

November...like she can forget that time. Everything they went through to save Nanako, the heartache...that moment when they nearly made the biggest mistake of their lives. It was him who told them to calm down and re look at the situation, leading them to the real killer. They solved the case and got rid of the fog and while she knows it's in her future, they get rid of it once and for all.

They saved the world but why was he so sad about it? Should she ask now when he may not want to answer if anyone else were around?

"It's...March now. Time works differently here. We can...talk about it more in a bit; Scorpio's three wards over so there's a bit of a distance."

Three wards over...ugh, his aching legs.

"That's fine, I don't..." Want to unload all my baggage on you? "...think it's safe to talk here, anyway."

Souji took a deep breath, slipped his golf club in to the beltloop of his pants, and nodded. "Lead the way. I'll try to keep up."

She can always get Amaterasu to carry him. It could be faster and the persona is still right behind her so it's not like she left or anything.

But yeah...going to the tram station right now.

Thankfully, they managed to make it to the tram station without Souji flopping over in to a heap of skin and bones. He did sit down on the train a little harder than he needed to, and seemed to zone out for most of the ride, but he snapped out of half-sleeping when they finally got to their stop. He'd never been so happy to see the Amagi inn than when they approached the entranced.

"It's really here..." He seemed a little more awed by the reality of their situation when they entered, standing awkwardly off to the side and looking around at every little detail. Not that bringing people to...wherever wasn't that inspiring, but a whole building was a different thing entirely.

Seeing the boy with the manager, they believed him to be the same one who has constantly visited the establishment. So there wasn't much fuss except for how awful he looked.

They already knew not to ask any questions involving certain matters or get a glare from said manager. Yukiko was just thankful that the pyro jack decided to be on the other side of the building otherwise that might've freaked Souji out. The room she ushered him into was one of the vacant sleeping quarters; like he was going to his apartment after this? He looked like he was going to pass out.

"There's a yukata you can use in the closet. I'll let you get settled in first."

Hey, she's not one to just jump in after seeing someone look like hell. Honestly, she probably wouldn't care if he fell asleep right after she left. They can talk in the morning.
