Summary: Massive Open Apartment Log (March 23rd - 31st)
Warnings: Rooms and stuff? If you start anything that is 16+ and up, PLEASE WARN US.

Do you remember the construction that had been going on for a while inside the apartment complexes? It had been rather silent lately, but on the 23th in the morning, you would find that the walls on each level were now filled with green walls filled with plants that survived harsh light environments, along with many herbs.

How had the managed to get so many of them here in a quick time? Magic, of course. (...No, seriously!)

The instructions were simple; those with Intel personas were asked to use their skills, if they had any, to refresh and renew the plants as they were used by the others. Thus a fresh supplies of produce could be made for a much cheaper price. The hydrophobic pumps took care of the water system.

If anyone ventured into the higher levels, they would find that the empty apartments of the 20th levels were all occupied by bulbs of all colors and sizes, flowers and vegetables in preparation of the warmer spring months. There were many scientific names on them.

It looked like they'd been handed another prototype project to go with the teleporters. But hey, at least this one seemed delicious and wasn't going to send you right into the other building's pool.

[Now that she was properly settled into her apartment and the city, Miyabi figured it was about time she get to know her neighbors. And in her experience, what better way to bond with people than to provide them free food?

She spent the morning in the kitchen baking several different types of cookies, wrapping them all up in individual little containers for each neighbor along her hallway. Once her preparations were done, she sets off along the hallway, knocking on each door with a bright smile on her face and a container of cookies wafting with a delicious smell in her hands.]

Hello there!

[By the way, her cooking is actually extremely delicious and edible.]

Everyone:

[Miyabi was quite happy to comply with the new request to help tend the plants; after all, one of her Persona's new skills she had access to was for that very use. Persephone floating about behind her, she begins to cast magic on some of the rows of plants, which immediately begin to grow larger and healthier under her touch. Miyabi stifles a yawn as she moves her hands away, trying to spread the spell out between a few of the plants before she had to wait a day to tend them again.]

[He wasn't sure if she had noticed him, but Jun had just been sort of...watching her Persona work on the plants for a while. Of course he was sure that this kind of skill was more common in this world if the people in charge had explicitly requested stuff like this, but-- well, he certainly hadn't seen anything like it.]

Hanakouji-- right? [He wasn't really as familiar with her as the others were, to say the least.] Impressive.

[She turns around to look at who was addressing her, expression morphing into a pleasant smile as she notices Jun.]

Jun Kurosu, yes? Eikichi talks about you and the others all the time.

[Persephone tilts her head at Jun curiously for a moment before dissipating from behind her, job done for the time being. Miyabi looks back at the flowers and smiles for a moment before brushing her hair behind her ear and turning back to look at the boy.]

I didn't have this skill before arriving, I was rather surprised to discover it. How much I can grow depends on the size of the plants I'm working with, though it makes me rather tired after using it.

That's right-- I... guess we've never really been properly introduced. [There's a bit of a self-deprecating smile at that. Oooops.

Though he was perfectly content to forget about that with a nod, and direct his attention back to her Persona.]

It's probably some sort of energy exchange; giving your own to the plants to allow it to grow more quickly... This place has an odd quality of changing the way our Personas work, if I had to guess. Persephone, wasn't it?

[She smiles back at him softly, trying to let her expression be more encouraging upon seeing the more negative lilt to his own. It's not like they'd really ever gotten many opportunities to properly talk to each other, especially with all the group shenanigans!]

That's what I was thinking, and it would certainly make sense all things considered. Yes, her name is Persephone, which is why it rather tickled me that she developed these sorts of skills.

[It also continues to pleasantly amuse her considering what persona a certain someone else had...]

Persephone and Hades-- given the way Michel talks about you, it's fitting. [He adds, with a small chuckle of amusement. Though he's also looking at the plants she'd made grow with interest.]

I'd say whatever happened managed to capture her essence rather well. Only Demeter would've been more accurate.

[She laughs a little, one hand coming up to cover her mouth until she stops.]

Mm, I thought it was rather fitting as well, though not necessarily the whole aspect of Hades kidnapping her to be his wife. I haven't really discussed the symbolism with Eikichi before, he's never asked about her.

[She reaches out to gently touch one of the plant she'd helped grow, expression fond. Miyabi had found herself a new hobby, that much was for sure.]

Like mother like daughter, certainly.

[She could grow plants and she actually knew who Demeter was? Oh he liked her. Sometimes Michel did have good taste.]

Well, maybe not he himself, but it certainly seems someone sensed the irony in the situation. [Boss of Cuss kidnaps a Sevens journalist, huh?] I'm sure Michel has no idea who Hades and Persephone even are, so it makes a nice surprise for him.

Have you ever done any kind of gardening before?

I should offer him one of my books sometime, tell him that he can read about his Persona's namesake in it. Maybe he'll be able to figure it out himself~

[She smiles, clasping her hands in front of her.]

I haven't, I do more cooking than any sort of gardening. I think I'd like to learn though, especially when I have all these new skills at my disposal. It seems like it'd be a waste not to use them to their fullest.

You have books on Greek Mythology? [Oho-- you've managed to persuade a bit of interest in his tone with that one. And here he thought he was the only one who would sit and read those sorts of things for fun.]

Ah... [He'd never actually...um, spoken about his own interests before like this-- making friends was kind of new territory for him, but damn if he wasn't trying his best.] I know...a bit about gardening myself-- I used to watch over a few plants back home... If you need any help, I'd be glad to offer.

Yes, among others. I really enjoy reading in general, but especially about Greek Mythology. I've also tried to dabble in Roman and Norse and the like, but Greek will always be the most special to me.

[You're doing quite well, Jun! And if there's anyone that's a good choice for your more tentative first time friend-making attempts, it would be Miyabi. She's an extremely friendly and kind girl in general, it's not too hard to get her to be your friend to begin with.]

Really? I'd like that a lot, actually. I was going to see if I could find any books about flowers, butt having someone with first hand knowledge is even better! Maybe together we could try making a small garden?

Greek and Roman aren't too far off from each other-- though both borrowed most of their pantheons from each other, it was mostly the method of worship that differentiated the two.

[He appreciated the fact that Miyabi was pretty personable but uh Jun we're pretty sure lectures on ancient religion aren't the best ice breaker.] Ironically, I'm more... partial to ancient Southern American systems-- but I have to admit, the trivial intrigues of Greek are almost charming.

Uh-- if you'd like... I have a few of my floral and botany books from home, if you can't find any. And I have a few seeds too--! So I'd love to.

Indeed! A lot of the changes myth-wise were just their names, though Athena had a rather unfortunate down-grade going from her Greek self to Minerva. She became more of a homemaker goddess, while the Roman goddess Bellona took her place as the battle goddess. But anyways...

That would be lovely. It would also be pretty fun to cook with home grown vegetables, so I'm rather excited about that prospect... the vegetables they usually provide around here at the stores are some rather startling and unpalatable colors.

True her duties were relegated, Minerva joined a trio of gods with Jupiter and Juno, sort of like a substitution for the Greek pantheon, though smaller and more important than the collective.

[Maybe just maybe he'll learn to shut up when the conversation prompts it.] Oh, yeah I've...seen them.

[Juuuust a bit of a grimace at the thought.] Perhaps that's the norm for this world, but the thought of it is a bit unappetizing to me.

[She pulls one of the containers of cookies out of her basket, offering it out towards the other girl.]
