Summary: Massive Open Apartment Log (March 23rd - 31st)

Do you remember the construction that had been going on for a while inside the apartment complexes? It had been rather silent lately, but on the 23th in the morning, you would find that the walls on each level were now filled with green walls filled with plants that survived harsh light environments, along with many herbs.

How had the managed to get so many of them here in a quick time? Magic, of course. (...No, seriously!)

The instructions were simple; those with Intel personas were asked to use their skills, if they had any, to refresh and renew the plants as they were used by the others. Thus a fresh supplies of produce could be made for a much cheaper price. The hydrophobic pumps took care of the water system.

If anyone ventured into the higher levels, they would find that the empty apartments of the 20th levels were all occupied by bulbs of all colors and sizes, flowers and vegetables in preparation of the warmer spring months. There were many scientific names on them.

It looked like they'd been handed another prototype project to go with the teleporters. But hey, at least this one seemed delicious and wasn't going to send you right into the other building's pool.

Gale is normally a model neighbour, if a bit secretive.

Today though, he's outside his apartment, looking at the greenery in great confusion.

Don't mind Desco, she is just rooting through your fridge.

Again.

"Why are you in my fridge?" Gale asks as he looks back into his apartment. He had wondered why the door was open...

Desco glances back over her shoulder, looking at you with wide, innocent red eyes.

"Because that's where the food is!"

"Do you not have food in your own fridge?"

"No."

She closes the fridge, apparently not in the mood for meat.

"Can Desco eat your silverware?"

"It was given to me by the City, which has been remarkably kind in helping me keeping supplied with food. I do not think I should let it be eaten."

Desco pouts briefly before shrugging and moving on.

"Do you have any metal you don't need?"

"I have shell casings." Gale picks up after he's done on this battlefield.

Desco's eyes light up at this.

"Ooo! The popcorn of metal snacks!"

Good. Gale goes to a corner of the living room to pick up a small box, comes back to Desco and hands it to her. The box is full of spent casings from his rifle.

Desco releases her tentacles as she happily accepts the box and proceeds to float over to the corner of the ceiling. One of her primary tentacles stretches over her shoulder and dips into the box briefly before coming back out, crunching noisily. Desco's childlike body sighs a little in contentment.

"Desco hasn't had spicy snacks in a while!"

"They taste spicy to you?" Desco is the only creature he knows that eats metal.

Nod nod.

"There's little bits of gunpowder still in them! And everybody knows gunpowder is just dehydrated explosions!"

"Dehydrated explosions... hm." Gale touched the bridge of his nose. "You have an interesting view of the world."

"Of course!"

She beams.

"Desco has seventeen eyes and a finely-tuned brain capable of understanding everything she sees!"

With that, she nods to herself.

"Daddy really knew what he was doing when he made Desco!"

That is not what Gale had meant at all, but the idea of a being with seventeen eyes was confusing. "I would have expected an even number of eyes."

One of her secondary tentacles grabs a mouthful of casings as Desco looks at you with a confused expression.

"Why?"

"Binocular vision requires two eyes. I would not know what your odd eye would see..."

Hey. Hey. All of Desco's eyes are odd.

Desco, meanwhile, is just sort of blinking.

"Well, Desco is a demon, you know! Her squamous and eldritch form only obeys human physiology enough to be adorable!"

"You are adorable? Why?" Gale asked, genuinely confused.

Desco actually chuckles at this before launching into a speech.

"Hmhmhmhm! Behold! Desco's innocent red eyes, filled with the shine of youth! Desco's rosy, blushing cheeks, plump with baby fat and bouncy to the touch! Desco's modestly proportioned chest, just enough to reinforce her girlish figure! The exceptionally cute pixie cut of Desco's luxuriously silky hair!"

With that, she strikes a pose.

"Truly, these features ensure Desco is the most adorable Little Sister that has ever lived!"

"A little... sister? What..." sister child mother father brother Gale groans and touches hie forehead with a hand.

Desco blinks as another one of her tentacles starts chewing a mawful of casings.

"What's wrong, mister Gale?"

"I... remembered what a sister is. And parents. Siblings. Brother." He touches the bridge of his nose with his index finger.
