Summary: Massive Open Apartment Log (March 23rd - 31st)

Do you remember the construction that had been going on for a while inside the apartment complexes? It had been rather silent lately, but on the 23th in the morning, you would find that the walls on each level were now filled with green walls filled with plants that survived harsh light environments, along with many herbs.

How had the managed to get so many of them here in a quick time? Magic, of course. (...No, seriously!)

The instructions were simple; those with Intel personas were asked to use their skills, if they had any, to refresh and renew the plants as they were used by the others. Thus a fresh supplies of produce could be made for a much cheaper price. The hydrophobic pumps took care of the water system.

If anyone ventured into the higher levels, they would find that the empty apartments of the 20th levels were all occupied by bulbs of all colors and sizes, flowers and vegetables in preparation of the warmer spring months. There were many scientific names on them.

It looked like they'd been handed another prototype project to go with the teleporters. But hey, at least this one seemed delicious and wasn't going to send you right into the other building's pool.

[Her room was mainly a place for her to stay at, to rest up and have a sense of privacy in this world. It's not her private room at JP's main headquarters or her bedroom in the manor, but it's enough for her. Particularly when she have things on her mind.

...Which get temporarily sidetracked when she saw the latest additions, after stepping out the door. She walks over to study the plants, particularly the herbs. Her head tilted a bit. Hm...didn't she see some of these before in dishes?

A little later on, she ventures up to the higher floors until she find herself on the 20th floor to look at the warm selection of bulbs, flowers and vegetables.]

They are, and some of them are pretty useful.

Herbs, right? Aah, but I never studied them too much. Do you recognize them?

[He pokes at a random plant curiously.]

[Her eyes look over each of them.]

...No, I don't recognise these type of herbs.

[She worked with herbs for rituals, not...cooking...]

That's a shame. We could've used them.

[He eyes them closely before giving a shrug and backing off; even though he could probably cook if he tried, he's been getting meals out during his stay here, so no herb knowledge on this guy.]

You could always start learning.

[Hm...nah. Other than cooking, these are useless to her. There's rituals, but Miyako doesn't have any reasons to use the traditional rituals at the moment.

Beside, she's been eating out and sustaining on instant food.]

I guess so... And it might be cheaper, especially if I can just grab herbs from here!

Well, I haven't really had to before, but... If I had a recipe, I could probably do it!

[Hizumi is a liar. Friendly and mostly harmless, but a liar nonetheless. As it is, he's pretty confident in his ability to tell when someone is lying, and by contrast, if they are telling the truth.

This girl hasn't displayed any nervous tics, and her expression is completely clueless.]

[That, and the fact that the topic is relatively harmless (the chances of "yakiniku" and knowledge of it needing to be concealed can safely be assumed to be pretty low, especially in such casual circumstances) makes the probability even closer to zero. Meaning...]

[Ah... is this what it feels like? Realizing that no matter how horrible your life may have been, at least you had the small comfort of yakiniku, where others did not even have that luxury...]
