Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

Are you familiar with Murphy's first law? Nothing is as easy as it looks. The most simple looking maneuvers can take the most training.

And the more advanced may be easier once these basics are learned themselves?

Indeed. That is how most advanced techniques are created. Variations on simpler techniques or added flair to something basic.

Advanced, if you would. I want to see if I can see the basics for myself, without knowing what may make up the move.

While I can't show you the triple lindy, I know a few that require some skill.

[She walks to the edge of the board, looks at the water and takes a breath, then leaps and does somersault before hitting the water with only a small splash]

[A triple lindy sounds rather exciting, but Theodore gives her a round of applause for what he's been shown.

And once she's back up, he'll express his awe!] You barely made a ripple, Master Ruri! I am quite surprised. Everything seems so simple as well, but that's in part due to the simple maneuvers that make up such a skillful technique.

Practice helps. It lets you know what angle to go at and the amount of time you have in the air to preform a maneuver like that. When I started it was not very impressive to watch.

Where did you learn? Were you taught by your two friends?

I find the sounds of water comforting. I learned after Akito and Yurika died, mostly so I wouldn't have to think about it.

I didn't realize that something like this could be used in such a way. Are there many things that draw your line of thought away from it?

When there is an issue you have no power over and you have nothing to do but obsess over it, its healthy to find other things to do. That's what I did. Ultimately that's why I joined the military, so I had things to occupy my thoughts other than a dozen what if scenarios of things in the past that I was incapable of changing.

Sometimes the your world just falls apart and you can either stand confused in the wreckage or look for something else to move you onward.

Is it really so easy? It sounds as if it would be quite a challenge to.

No. Its a daily struggle to keep occupied, especially here. That being said, its better than collapsing.

I see... Besides swimming, what sort of activities do you like? I'm sure there must be much more here for you to keep your mind busy. I have taken to playing the "crane machines" and trying to take little dolls from their metal innards.

I've been working on getting the Nadesico set up so it can at least have people stay in it. That and trying to understand the demons that roam the streets here.

The latter is certainly more challenging than the former. So long as you understand their intentions, you will have no trouble in deciphering what exactly they want to converse about.
