Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

Yes. That is close enough. However... there seem to be many daemons just walking about the city itself. Mutants and Xenos as well. And they are tolerated. Be careful, this is though this city Hinoto-Ri is clearly on Terra, it is not Terra as we understand it.

[ He watches the door over Ferrus' shoulder. ]

Whatever, he'd investigate more later. He seemed surprised by the information - mutants, xenos, daemons... all here, and tolerated? That sounds... entirely dangerous. ]

Ah, yes, sir. ... If they're tolerated, I assume that means we shouldn't attack unless attacked...?

[ He sounds unsure, cautious: should he hunt the daemons??? He is pretty used to them being affiliated with chaos. Xeno and mutant hunting being a secondhand idea. He really doesn't like the sound of this, even if the city is... surprisingly grandiose... Most of the hive worlds he interacted with were barren of the baubles and decor that this one has. Even if technically... this wasn't a hive world.

[ He tilts his head, and he seems to be considering how to respond. His body language expresses it - given that he's stopped his rigidity, he quietly folds his arms. His tone is awkward, but sounds much like an admission. He can't lie to the other - he's been seen through, and he's not good at lying, anyway. ]

Maybe a bit of both.

[ He moves his head back to normal position. His voice takes up the tone he had before, although he doesn't retain his stiffness. ]

... Still, a friend told me that there's no point in being ruled by fear, and I agree. I won't let it stop me. If my duty is to help, I'll do it.

[ He knows the problems with fear. It prompts cowardice. But he's not about to try and cut contact with the other, or desperately try to go back home. He might be afraid, and his pausing and soft indications - a clenching at his arms - might let that on. But he's not a coward.

He might not know how to properly deal with people, and he might not have any self-worth. But... he's got the willful, dutiful spark in him. He won't let fear get in the way of his duty. ]

It is good that you understand duty. Loyalty to the throne is all we have, in a place like this.

... He'd been tempted, a while ago, to turn off his fear receptors. Maybe he'd be better about things, smarter - maybe it'd be helpful, here. But... he'd decided against it. He'd sworn himself against getting his grey matter carved out. For the moment.

[ He appreciates that whole 'need accurate data' thing, here. He's a surveyor, after all. He moves to open the door.

... Garviel, you'd better remember that he's only going to get confused if he goes looking for the name 'Cerberus'... ]

The moment you leave him alone is the moment he will brain what just happened and possibly nerd over getting to fix your armor and shit, man. It's only by sheer willpower that he's not dissolved about the seams, here. ]
