The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get lucky.

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[(Make sure you read it!) This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts (we're testing it out to see this works well or not.)

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

[At first, he thought he'd just been drawn into another game; that the butterfly masked man had (rudely) interrupted the duel he was in to pull him into another Shadow Game. That initial thought quickly changed when he had some deformed human suddenly chasing after him, and he was pretty sure it hadn't been generated by a card.]

[It wasn't long before he was cornered, his back against a building and the monster looming closer. When pinned like that, just like in cards, the pharaoh had only one way to respond: retaliate. Unfortunately, he had no idea how he was supposed to do that; it wasn't like he had a weapon on him, and he was pretty sure that waving a card around without Kaiba's satellite system to back it up wouldn't do him any good.]

[Without anything else to do, the pharaoh slipped his Puzzle off, swinging it around like it was a ball and chain... and bringing it cracking down on the monster's head. Naturally, having that much gold -- even if it was something that could be separated into pieces -- coming crushing down on your skull would have anything out, though he still had to stop and stare.]

[Tachikoma was passing by when she noticed the small boy bash the head in of some kind of monster with a metallic pyramid. She also heard the question he muttered.]

Yep! You crushed its head in! I wonder what it was though...

[Any door would lead you home...that's what she believed in when everyone else had gone after the ball dropped. But then, this wasn't her beloved Kaleido Stage given the dark setting, the bar atmosphere, and the fact that she was sticking out like a sore thumb in her doctor's coat, messy hairstyle, and overall young appearance despite being twenty years old.

Ok, she had to retrace her steps...she opened the door to Owen's office, stepped inside...met some strange man in a butterfly mask and arrived in this place. Well, she couldn't just stand around and wait for someone to find her. Instead, Sora walked up to the nearest person and asked:]

Excuse me, I'm a little lost. Could you tell me where I am?

Rätsel Feinschmecker - The 6th - Aries Ward - Open

Walking the streets is a tall blonde man in goggles with a fur lined leather jacket. He moves from ramen stand to ramen stand watching the chefs, looking over them with the same eye a master fighter would watch a potential opponent, occasionally chucking a bit to himself.

"This wasn't expected, but until I figure out where I am, may as well see what is local."

And then everything was-TROMBE!

"Looking to set up a restaurant or something?" Standing behind the goggle-bearing blonde who most certainly was not Elzam von Branstein in disguise was an odd young man dressed in white. "You're certainly an enterprising sort for a new arrival, mister...?"

"Depends on what you're looking for."

Rumbles a deep-voiced giant, somewhat nearby to Ratsel, seemingly just walking along as his own pace. His armor is scarred, smeared, and battered, and his helm makes him look like a tiny personal trooper.

Zuko, Weds the 6th, Virgo

Zuko is in the Virgo ward, because his apartment doesn't have any food, and this seems the place to get it.

It's just...

Zuko's world is quite different from Hinoto-Ri. So he's a little awe-struck by what he's seeing. Forgive him if he bumps in to you.

[Well, when Zuko bumps into Riku, he'll stop and press one hand into his hip, cocking his head to the side.]

For future reference, you might wanna look where you're going.

[His tone isn't particularly hostile, though. Given that this is a big city, some awkward encounters are bound to occur.]

Chie Satonaka | 13th Hour | OPEN

Without really knowing many people in the city (aside from the Investigation Team), and with most of them injured, Chie had taken it upon herself to go and train. She had done as much studying as she could (which was really not her strong suit) and even contacted her new friend Minako.

She knew it was dangerous, to go out at the 13th Hour, but she had braved the TV World and fought a God. So Chie was feeling a bit optimistic. That night she had strapped on her best greaves, and loaded her jacket with meat snacks and healing items. A police cadet was always prepared!

When the time came, Chie was at the spot they had agreed on, and sent a message to Minako to let her know she was waiting.

They shouldn't have too much trouble. Chie's an experienced Persona user, and Minako is that plus used to fighting during the 13th Hour. She's found working in pairs to be efficient, although she still wishes that she had Fuuka, or someone like her, to use as her backup. It's easy to take a support Persona user for granted until they aren't present.

"Hey, Chie-chan!" Minako greets the other girl as she approaches. She has her naginata in one hand, her Evoker buckled to her waist and, for the sake of tradition, she's also wearing her red SEES armband. "Are you ready for training?"

Masamune Date [AU] | Virgo Ward | OPEN | 3/6 - 13th Hour

[Most nights Masamune would either be studying for class or dealing with his training from hell with Otoha, but tonight?

Tonight was a night to cut loose. The tension in the air, even after the others had come and gone from wherever they were taken (he wasn't going to pry at this point, even with his own curiosity) - he felt the need to at least break it on a more personal level.

Which meant taking Senrima out for a ride.

Though he was still confused as to why he couldn't ride his Persona like he had during the Anoli attack, it still didn't stop him from fighting alongside his Persona, and his training was already starting to pay off - his strikes were clearer, more precise, and not just moves from kendo. It was strange - using Senrima, fighting like this - it felt right. It was a feeling that he was actually starting to become accustomed to. For a moment, he wondered what Kojuro would be thinking if he saw this, but that thought was quickly pushed out of his head as he sliced through a small, shadowy creature that had tried to sneak up on him and Senrima - and another two or three were right behind it.]

Well, at least we won't be bored.

[Speaking of Otoha, he was watching from above, Yatagarasu looming behind him threateningly. He grinned as he watched Masamune cut through some of the monsters, before jumping down to catch another who was trying to sneak up from behind him.]

Joshua Kiryu | Virgo District | March 6th (early evening)

This certainly looked nothing like any place within F3 that he had ever been to... Even their visit to Manhattan was nothing like this. The Manhattan that they went to was a dead city, barren of people, slowly torn apart by tendrils of nothingness, obliterating those who came too close...

And otherwise he'd seen two deserts and a bathhouse. All-in-all, empty or otherwise unexciting.

But this place was crawling with people on the streets, rushing along with shopping bags, either mothers with their children and arms full of grocery bags, or teenagers carrying bags full of new clothes. Smells of food wafted from restaurants and stands, and for the first time in his year and a half of life, he was...

Actually in a place that legitimately felt like home. Too much for comfort, in fact, to the point where the young Composer had to withdraw to a lonelier area underneath an overpass just to get his bearings. Sitting on the cold concrete and rubbing his arms, Joshua couldn't seem to find his faciliberry in either of his pockets, nor could he draw up nearly any of his power, despite his collar being black.

In fact, he felt more powerless than usual... at least he'd maintained some of his abilities with the blue collar, but there was nothing available to him right now. As if he were actually in the RG at the moment...

Lost and with no place to go, far too overwhelmed by everything he was seeing and hearing and feeling, Joshua chooses to stay put right where he is, attempting to sort his thoughts.

Absolutely none of it made any kind of sense, of course. Unless this was all some kind of dream. It certainly felt like one.

Neku's already been here for a couple of hours past a full day. He's got the rundown, learned what he needs to know, figured out his COMP to some extent... but he needs to know the layout. And from what he's been told, this place is huge. Bigger than the station, really. So, small steps.

Naminé had brought him to the Virgo district yesterday, so it was as good a place to start exploring as any. He started earlier in the afternoon, a few hours ago, and by this point, he's kind of sure he's got the layout of this district pretty well memorized. Couldn't tell you where any specific shop was, but he knew his way around enough to not get lost too badly.

... except, passing this overpass for the first time, there's... someone familiar there. It strikes Neku enough to pause, looking from a distance because that looks for all the world like--

Joshua. He doesn't know if it's the Joshua he knows or not, but stepping a little closer better shows the scar on his face. ... and really, Neku can't help but break out in a grin as he makes his way even closer.

You would think that after seeing Nazi mecha storm a city, said city rising into the air, and the end of the world happening on an ancient Mayan spaceship, nothing else could possibly phase her. But Lisa's staring at her new surroundings with a mixture of shock, fear, and anger. Lots of anger, actually.

"Haime!?" One minute she's dealing with an end of the world crisis, the next thing she knows Philemon is dragging her into another stupid bet! Fury bubbles inside of her, enough to make her clenched fists shake as she looks around at her new setting. Who cares about this place, what about the others? What about Maya...?

She needs answers, and fast. "Philemon!" she yells, stomping her foot on the ground. "Get back here and answer me, you coward!"

People are giving her strange looks, but she doesn't have it within her to care at the moment. Finding out where her friends are is top priority. With a huff, she looks up at the sign of the department store in front of her. Junes...what the heck's a Junes?

Lisa turns her attention to the people that are nearby. "Hello? Can someone tell me what's going on!?"

"There's a girl outside the store screaming about Philemon..."

"Think she's a Visitor that just showed up?"

"Probably. Seemed a bit dangerous, so I didn't ask her name. She was real pretty tho.."

Eikichi looked up at the two gossiping workers just as they finished bagging his supplies (fruits and a copy of the June's Prince Volume 2, just so he could tease Tachan with it). Looking down at his watch, he opened up the searching program and realized that there was indeed a new signature, not even a 2 minute walk from where he was. Man, there's really been a lot of them this week...

Paying for his groceries, he walked out, getting ready to calm them down with the usual Michel charm and--

NO WAY.

"GINKO?!"

Tachikoma | Any District | Open

[Tachikoma has been exploring the town at various times of day since arriving in Hinoto-Ri. Tonight she happens to be doing so during the 13th Hour.

While she seems to be by herself and not actively looking for a fight, she does glance up at the night sky quite a lot. And seems to be talking to herself. If you follow her line of sight though, you'll see she's actually exploring the town with her Persona who happens to be hanging in the night sky above her. It seems this is the first chance she's actually taken to talk with it.]

So you are a Persona? Is that your name, or just a designation?

[Stars flash in sequence as it talks in a deep and calm voice.]

I have been called many things before, as well as classified as various things. Many have referred to me as god and asked for help even. My current title is the Great Omnipotent Device, but you may call me whatever you wish.

[Tachikoma seems to ponder this a moment.]

Can I call you Zero then?

[Nikolai is out doing what he does every so often during the 13th Hour - making sure people are okay and staying safe, and helping in a fight if they need it. What he doesn't expect to see is a whole lot of extra stars in the sky nearby, nor a young lady talking to them. You'll find yourself with a perplexed onlooker, Tachikoma.]

Benjamin Linus | 13th Hour, March 13 | OPEN

They say one needs to undergo stress in order to first summon one's persona. What's more stressful than waking up in proximity to a monster?

Ben's seen some strange things in his life: paraplegics who could suddenly walk, men who didn't age, black smoke developing a (very unpleasant) personality, yes, but nothing quite as immediately shocking as this abomination that's roused him from a dream that's growing hazier by the second. Ben scrambles to his feet, more frightened than he's been in years. Somewhere in the back of his mind he's aware that facing one monster by surprise is nowhere near as bad or strange compared to the things he's experienced, but the rest of him doesn't care. There's a thing in front of him that seems quite intent on killing him, and he has no idea what the hell it is or where the hell he is or how the hell he got here and. Doesn't the red sky give this situation some credibility? The sky on the island was never red!

To make matters worse, he's hearing voices in his head. Something about I art thou, the sea of his soul, flowery mumbo jumbo he can't quite catch because he's cowering in fear one moment, gaping in surprise the next, engulfed in blue light, staring at an apparition of a well-dressed rabbit (???) attacking the monster with a splash of water. It seems to send the monster stumbling back. That's a victory for him, but.

What he doesn't know is that this snazzy rabbit of his is only good for support.

He's going to need some help.

Locke would often patrol during the 13th hour, especially if he couldn't sleep, at least he could try and help someone while he was out. And help someone seemed to be what he needed to do here.

A burst of fire signaled the arrival of Phoenix and it flapped it's wings forcefully, causing a large gust of wind to hit the demons and knock them back. Locke took that chance to rush to the older man's side. "You alright?"

Souji Seta [AU2] | March 12th, 13th Hour | Aquarius Ward

A person would have to be new, exhausted, or really brave to sleep on a bench during the 13th hour. Honestly, deciding which of those three Souji fell under was probably hard- even with consistent healing, he'd had to shrug off his fair share of injuries, and it showed. His uniform was a mess from basically living in it, his hair was trying to reinvent itself, and his skin was both pale and also a calico of faint bruises.

But he was sleeping so ridiculously, lying on his side with one arm draped over his eyes and one leg hanging off the bench, that it was sort of hard to assume this was the victim of a mugging, either. Plus, he was snoring. Loudly, at that. Clearly, he had to be somewhat peaceful, to be that comfortable on an uncomfortable bench in the middle of the school ward in the first place. Was that a...golf club he was hugging?

In the end, it didn't matter that he was new, banged up, or snoring- he looked pretty damn embarrassing.

...Uh. Hm.

That's definitely not safe circumstances, sir.

Ryu can definitely appreciate having a desperate need for sleep that drives one to ludicrous lengths - that's kind of a facet of life when it comes to guard duty shifts. He has seen his own _{(former, he painfully reminds himself for the twentieth time)} partner in such compromising and ridiculous straits before, even slowly and begrudgingly sunk into them himself once or twice.

It's his past experience with letting sleeping dogs lie that leads Ryu to simply taking the nearby bench seat to serve as a lookout for the incapacitated stranger, rather than attempt to rouse him in order to ask him to seek a better spot to rest. Sleeping people with weaponry are not to be prodded at. That's like, a basic tenet of the Positive Encounter and Tactics System.

Lanister | March 12th | Leo-13th hour | OPEN

Bright white light and then a dream about a man that was quickly slipping to the edges of his memory and Lanister found himself in a city seemingly teeming with demonic energy.

Oh what fun...

His dagger was out in an instant as a small group of demons came closer. "Now...I'm not one to hurt a brother...but I don't get the feeling you're the welcoming committee here." If they were, they weren't doing their jobs that well.

One of them lunged for him and he slashed at it's wrist while shoving the others away with a wave of his hand. Yeah...this was going to be fun...especially if any more of these things showed up.

ryu / petit frost statue / virgo ward

It was like waking up from a long sleep, really - Ryu feels lethargic and jet lagged, and he knows he's lost a few days. It's something that's happened before, when he had to sleep off surface sicknesses that his immune system was ill-prepared for. The zealous something hitching a ride in his body always burned it out with time - but this isn't one of those circumstances. That's clear enough from the fact that he woke up at the base of something large and cast from a brown metal, rather than in his bed or in its general vicinity.

He rubs at his numbed head and gives a bleary glance heavenward - the sky is a dim blue that he's learned is either dying or newborn light, and above him looms the object that had been supporting him. It's a statue, of a little Frost with a too-big hat.

..How did he get here? Why was he here? How much time has he misplaced...? Ryu clocks the time on his COMP, and comes back with a date wildly different than the last one he recalls. _{There's some weird differences in the COMP interface, too.} That's, uh... he doesn't quite understand the calender here, but he's pretty sure the jump isn't normal. Ryu climbs to his feet, and studies the statue and his immediate surroundings with suspicion.

[Miyabi had received a notice on her COMP about a new arrival in the area, and she figured she might as well do her best to help out, especially since she was already in the vicinity. She walks over to Ryu with what she hoped was a reassuring and open smile, raising one hand in greeting; the other was occupied holding a basket filled to the brim with fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a loaf of bread that still steamed with heat.]

Yosuke Hanamura [AU2] | March 12th, Noon | Virgo Ward (JUNES)

Yosuke was certain that he had died, and was now suffering some ironic form of punishment in Hell.

Ever since arriving in this place, Yosuke had been put through a gauntlet more daunting and terrifying than a Shadow infested dungeon could ever think up. High pitched screaming, mobs of rabid girls, middle aged woman, and boys (?!?!), hiding in clothes racks or ducking behind the aisles of Junes...

Yup. He was definitely in Hell. That, or the TV World grew an even more malicious streak, and he had stumbled upon a fucked up Magatsu-Junes when taking a break from Souji's delusional optimism. Well, the where didn't really matter at the moment. The more important thing was that Yosuke was currently squatting inside a clothes rack, nervously peeking out from between two half-price sweaters to see if the coast was clear.

...yeeeeah he's pretty damn noticeable, really. How the hell that hiding place worked was a mystery of Hinoto-Ri.

[Have someone leaning in to look at said clothing rack and lock eyes with you. Her expression is much different than those of the people he would've seen looking at him thus far, shifting with confusion and one eyebrow slooowwllyy raising up. After a short moment something seems to register in her eyes and she unzips her baggy hoodie, pulling it off of her shoulders and offering it to Yosuke through the clothing veil.]

Here, I'll help you get home. Keep the hood up.

[Kairi wasn't exactly friends with Yosuke, the only time she'd ever seen him was at the tournament with Sora as his partner, but she knew pretty damn well how crazy the fans of this book were. Two members of her own home were included in the most recent installment, though 'Earth' was a two for one deal with Xehanort around, and they'd had to kick many a sobbing fangirl from their roof after the 13th hour. Xion had even recently gotten into a fight with a group of them trying to get inside, and the amount of harassment Aqua had been getting about the 'Earth' and 'Wind' love triangle was too much to count. Junes Saga victims gotta stick together bro :'| ]

Eiji Hino | Cancer Ward | Open | March 13, Late morning to early afternoon

[ eiji is pretty happy and calm about his new surroundings, for a newcomer. Right now, he's moseying along the street in a rolling stride, stopping to take brief peeks at any bright LEDs or shiny gadgets that pique his attention. most are too expensive for him (especially since he came here without most of his belongings, including his money), but it appears that he's perfectly happy with ogling them with bright eyes and a huge smile for a bit before moving on.

he will also be going up to people he's noticed have the strange ear-things that turn into glasses and ask them innocuous questions, such as... ]

Hello! Can you tell me what time it is?

[One might think these two would be able to recognize each other after helping each other out a couple of times already, but to be fair, Shoutarou wasn't wearing his hat when Eiji came up - he feels the use of the glasses doesn't work with such a hard-boiled clothing item.

And...well, it's been a long time since they crossed paths, not that their interactions were very long to begin with, so he's got reason to not recognize the voice.

[Shou turns, and promptly makes a show out of pointing and backing up in surprise.]

Depending on where you are, someone new's arrived. They aren't staying put and are keeping away from the open areas, though. Sometimes they have no choice but to walk in the open briefly during the rain, so that might be when you notice, unless you're fast enough to catch up with them anyway.

If you happen to catch or run into them, they have a very different appearance from the usual. The person looks human, but wears a yellow shawl that looks tattered ragged, blending in with the very long blonde hair they have. If that isn't the thing to catch your attention, the shape of what looks like their helmet probably is. A large triangle-shaped blueish-green crystal takes up the front, and two white spikes aimed behind the head are attached to the sides. The way the red of the helmet horn backwards would give the impression of an almost-demonic appearance, if it wasn't for how sleek the design looked.

More importantly, they appear to be holding themselves as if in fatigue or pain. The crystal on their forehead is slowly blinking a bright green, and they're visibly hunched and breathing heavier than normal.

Rain was no reason to stay cooped up inside her little apartment. She was still in search of a job, and still hoping to spy familiar faces. Neither of those things were likely to happen if she just huddled away by herself. Outside had far more potential than inside.

Her COMP sounded an alarm when she wasn't far away from Zero. It had a system built in to detect the newly arrived, although the signal that they gave off was short-lived. With a surprised sound she brought the eyepieces up, peered about, and sought for the source. And when she found the source, she gasped and rushed forward with concern.

"Oh! Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

She's not the least bit put off by his appearance. Any questions or concerns were overridden by her concern for his immediate well-being. He might be a bit concerned about her appearance, though. She looked vaguely human... aside from the purple skin, the seams on her face, the artificial-looking mechanisms where her ears ought to be, and the glassy-gold eyes...

[ Someone needs to get punched. Seriously. After being brought to the Afterlife and fighting 'god' and having all that done and over with, being sent to another dimension with other thoughts in mind?

... Yeah, this does not play well for Yuri. She may not know that today is a special holiday and all, but she's certainly pissed as she wanders around the streets of the city, searching for clues. And she doesn't care if she's cold, wearing only a school uniform and knee-high socks.

And people around her? Might want to be wary since she's most definitely not unarmed.

But what is happening is that rain is pouring on her, so she's just going to stand in a area safe from rain, definitely angry. And definitely wet. ]

Persona, huh... I must have the worst timing to show up in the real world when it's raining.

[White Day always held bittersweet memories, pulling his thoughts towards girlfriends he'd had in life and how they never seemed to work out for the long term. However, he pushed such thoughts to the back of his mind, instead spending the day with his fellow battlefront members. Why worry about the holiday if there was nothing to be done about it? It's not like there were any women in his life right now.]

[It had been threatening to rain all morning, but the three boys had managed to get in a few innings of sandlot baseball before the rain officially began. Being the leader in Yuri's absence, his small apartment had become a base of operations. So once their game had gotten rained out, he told Otonashi and Noda to meet him there, because he was going to run to the convenience store for some drinks and snacks. They couldn't get into too much trouble in such short a time... right?]

[So there he was, baseball glove still on his hand (he'd foolishly left the bat with Noda), walking down the sidewalk to the store. He stopped on the corner, watching the traffic go by and waiting for the light to change, looking around absently.]

[That's when he saw her.]

[At first, he convinced himself his eyes were playing tricks on him. He'd been here for about a month, and the three boys of the SSS had even put together a haphazard network broadcast, specifically to find her or other battlefront members, to no avail. So it couldn't possibly...]

[The little light by the crosswalk changed over, signalling that it was his turn to cross. He made his way across the street, keeping his eyes trained on her. No matter how you looked at it... she looked just like Yuri. He stopped a few steps from her, still in the rain, keeping out of the overhang that she had ducked underneath.] Y-Yurippe..?

(You are walking through the town when you notice something moving via the roof tops. As you move to get a better look, it turns out to be a teenage girl wearing some light armor, a blue dress, silver hair, and eerily piercing green eyes. She finally comes to a stop on one of the roof tops and looks out at the city.)

...How strange. I don't know of any city in the region like this...Where am I?

Red really wasn't his color, but bear it he must. Joshua's been actively avoiding most of the demon packs on this night, getting in practice with being stealthy in this form - something that he never thought he'd actually have to do in his long years of life, but at least it wasn't boring.

He finally made it into the right part of Taurus ward after spending several tense minutes cooped up in a nearby alley, letting some boisterous demons pass him by, before spotting the mural from earlier. He checks the area before slipping out of his hiding place, padding to the mural, and calibrating his phone to the right time. After the 13th hour, plus an hour so stragglers aren't an issue, and at least a half hour for the process... He backs up until he can capture the entire wall on the screen, checks that his phone is set to March 16, 1:30 AM, and hits the clicky button.

Standing before the wall hosting an unfinished mural were about five people; all of them dressed in black, with various styles of dress, and all of them wearing masks. Two were off to the side, one kneeling, one standing by the rightmost coffin wore hoodies. One had a half-mask and a balaclava, and a bandanna around their neck, and the other wore their hood fully up, a bit of dark hair peacking out from under, and a full victorian-esque mask. The kneeling one looked to just have finished detailing a coffin, while the standing one was looking down, not seeming to be taking any action at the moment.

On the opposite side of the wall, another person was kneeling with a spray can, in the middle of adding the series of dots in the lower left corner. The jacket they wore was dark red, their hood up and a balaclava concealing their hair and skin, and a golden Comedian theatre mask on their face. Just to the right of them, was a figure standing before the wall, wearing a black coat and a large black scarf with their hood up, a golden Tragedian theatre mask on their face. Sitting on top of their shoulders was the final person, who had a much smaller stature than the other four, a black hood up covering their head, but no balaclava to hide their dark hair. Instead of a full mask, they had a half mask over their eyes and a gas mask on the lower half of their face. One hand was pressed against the wall to hold themselves steady, away from any paint, while another was holding a paintbrush, in the middle of adding the detail to the moon's face.

It was always disconcerting to wake up and find yourself in a place you didn't recognize. It was even more so to wake up and not have a clue what anything around you was. The very nature of the Hinoto-Ri was foreign to Snow White, and even though she had gotten through the initial throat clenching panic stage, she was still walking wearily around and trying to remain mostly out of sight.

If this was magic, it was no brand that she had ever witnessed before. Her hand was firmly on her dagger's handle, though she did not draw it. It wouldn't do her any good to look threatening from the very start.

At some point she would want to talk to someone, to get some information that might actually stick in her mind. Something was there, but most of the words felt like sand slipping through her fingers. But she had to be careful... especially if this was one of the Queen's tricks. Still, obvious confusion was clear on her face.

Link was on his way to his second job when he saw her--or, specifically, her sword. Her obvious state of confusion didn't make him feel too good about that weapon of hers.

He approaches with a small grin on his face, one that doesn't match the caution in his eyes. "Is everything okay?"

[To say he was a little disoriented would be an understatement.

David knew that his reaction to all of this so far likely had not been very dignified, or princely, but he was certain that keeping up the illusion was the least of his worries right now. His first instinct in the midst of his shock was to reach for the hilt of his sword, but he figured out quickly enough that nothing was out to attack him - at least, not as far as he could tell.

Though he was mostly aware of how he had ended up where he was (he remembered a conversation, something about a world (another land?) that needed help, Persona...whatever in the world that was) the whole experience was still disorienting. He was used to great forests and small villages, and occasionally even castles.

He recognized nothing familiar in this place. The buildings, the- well, he didn't know words to describe most of what he was seeing. Strange things made of metal and who knows what else being sold all over the place. It didn't look like anything he had ever seen before.

Eventually, he overcomes his shock enough to start walking...though he doesn't know the first thing about where to go or what to do, and he probably looked just as bewildered and out of place as he felt. His clothes, at least, were a good hint that he must come from a very different world than this one.
